Panic showed in Orion's eyes when he saw Dahlia and Emery. He unconsciously turned to look at me to gauge my reaction. Magnolia gasps in surprise and Zion walks over, curious at what we're doing and the hawk flies over to Zion's wolf and lands on his back. "Yep that is Marcellus familiar, I can feel his soul in it." Orion nods and looks at the hawk. "I thought that was a myth. But what does yours look like if it's okay for me to ask that?" Magnolia say and looks at Orion. Orion smiles and nods and he puts his hand to the side and concentrates and out of his chest a black wolf with silver eyes jump out. "Wow, doesn't that hurt?" Kenji asks and looks at Orion's chest. Orion shakes his head.

I reached out and accepted it, and our hands touched. I was running until I was safely in my small apartment, locking the door, throwing the deadbolt, and leaning against the wood, trying to catch my breath. I slid down onto the floor. My legs were shaking. Orion. He was what the town whisperers called the Alpha. They never uttered his name aloud, but they knew it. Orion was the most powerful, most ruthless shifter in the territory.

“I’ll let our Alpha and Luna explain everything to you when they get here. In the meantime, Fiona can catch you up on the pack. She has been waiting patiently to talk to you. Dencio managed a chuckle and decided to introduce his daughter to us. He cleared his throat before speaking. "This is my daughter, Clara. She's my only child since her mother passed away too soon." He turned to face Clara and continued, "They're the people I've been talking about. This is Sophia." Mr. Dencio pointed in my direction. Penelope was the first to get out of the limousine that had transported them from the auditorium to the school's gate. When she was out, Derek who was quite confident of himself retrieving the orb and making enchanters like him proud stepped out, too, and lastly, Harold Girard, who had an expressionless look on his face exited the limousine.

The Heart Chamber fell into complete silence. No one moved. No one breathed. The man remained on one knee, his head bowed in respect. “My name is Orion.” His voice was calm, worn by centuries of hardship. “I am the son of King Alaric and Queen Selene.” Lucian’s grip tightened around the hilt of his sword. “Stand up.” Orion obeyed. As he rose, everyone noticed the strange markings on his wrists. Ancient silver chains were fused into his skin, glowing faintly beneath the surface.

Ooh, I felt so good around him! “I’m not Miall,” he said, slowly walking toward me; he smirked as I stepped back. Why did he have Miall’s face, and so hot? “Then who are you?” I suddenly felt like I couldn’t move; what was happening? “I’m Orion, god of Lycans,” he stared down at me with a huge cocky smile. “And you must be mia nwananga.”
