Sera POV Dawn settled over Ravenwood gently, soft light spilling across frost-coated branches and casting long shadows on the forest floor. The air was sharp with cold and pine, carrying the faint scent of melting frost. The forest felt tense, as though it held its breath. Every crack of ice, every rustle of leaves, every distant sigh of wind carried weight. Wolves moved with care, each step deliberate, their senses attuned to the subtle shifts in posture and alignment around them. This day would demand vigilance. Raven thought his death was near when he saw dozens of red eyes behind the trees in the Forbidden Forest. Raven had just learned that one of the Shadow Wolves fighting him was a scout. Raven was completely underestimated as an Omega; even the scout Shadow Wolves thought he was weak and could be easily killed.

Ruby hissed, earning a low growl in return from Alpine, who’d bared her jaw to her neck, leaning intimidatingly close. Ruby pushed off the wolf’s chest and jumped back. “Don’t touch me!” She screamed before shifting into her own wolf. Ruby’s was a brown wolf with a burnt-orange patch over one eye. She snarled at Alpine. The wolf was almost the same size as the future Luna’s, which was still twice the size of a regular she-wolf. The pair started to circle each other, their focus on each other. Rowan stepped back, sighing. “Begin!”

Get over here now!” I hear Rebecca nearly scream through our link so I look up to see her and Dad running to us.
