Ruby babbled to the crow. "Caaaww!" it answered back. "I think I look crazy. I'm talking to a bird and I can understand a cat monster. Fine, Uncle Venrir I'm coming." Ruby put on her shoes and followed the bird as he flew to the forest. The crow went off the track so she had to trail her way on the uneven and jagged ground. The bird led her deeper into the forest where the trees are thicker and the foliage is bigger allowing almost no light to pass at all to light her way. Several times she lost sight of the bird so she just paused and waited for Venrir to find her, which he always does and brought her further and further into the unknown. The forest soon lost the sound of the chirping birds

Matt explained. “Okay…um…what about Black and White? Do wolves not have black and white furs? I thought they’ d be the most common…” Charlotte asked the question nagging at her. “Um…They do…but black and white wolves are really rare. Only Truebloods have white wolfs and as far as black ones are concerned, they are even more rare. The last person to have a black wolf was from the royal family that ended 24 years ago...” Truebloods…Yeah…she remembers reading about them…they are apparently the most powerful wolves alive, blessed by the Moon Goddess with mystical powers…hmm….if only truebloods have white wolves…then who was that she met in the woods? A trueblood...in this pack…

But below that, both his forearms were covered with tattoos. The one on the right consisted of twisty, thorned vines. But the details on the left side were magnificent. There was an ink-splattered face of a wolf solemnly watching me. He was crafted completely in black except for the eyes which were a golden, yellow-brown. There was just something wise and knowing about his expression. But under that, he melted into a moon-lit forest scene where a hooded figure walked among the trees. “Mayhem?” Brick asked softly as if he could read the temptation on my face.

But for Alex, he automatically knew who it was as he immediately recognized his white hoodie that got splattered with paint in the colors of the rainbow. He scrolled up and as the caption, he simply had a blue heart emoji. "Blue."

Even her name meant a small songbird which fits with the sunny weather so well. Robin took a look at the clothes that Wren had brought with her. She was surprised to see a simple yellow sundress with large printed flowers on it. It looks too bright and feminine for Raven’s taste. In fact they had never seen Raven wore clothes as bright as this and with feminine patterns like its flowers. Raven always wore plain shirts and pants all with the basic dull colors. Still, with her porcelain skin and pitch black eyes and a hair as dark as ebony, her plain clothes still suited her so well.

The rogues stood there in total shock as we attacked them. My midnight black wolf, Estine, was ripping throats out left and right. My wolf is clearly the biggest wolf out here, killing rogues. Conrad and Max are a little smaller than me with brown wolves. Conrad's eyes are still a loving amber. However, Alpha River's human eyes are sky blue and his wolf, Max's eyes, are forest green. My pitch-black fur is covered in blood. The only thing that remains of my blackness are my coal-black eyes. I look around and the dead bodies of rogues are piling up.

Palm sweaty, heart racing, Andrew pushed open the door. Dark paneled walls and polished mahogany, shadows crawling along the grains, the reflection of light like liquid. The walls gleamed with a polished patience, swallowing the weak afternoon light and throwing the room into uneven shadows. The desk loomed like a single block of authority, its edges sharp, leather chair poised as if it could decide a man’s fate.

Headlights flared, slicing through the darkness like twin blades. The Ironclaws froze. Eyrix lifted his head weakly. A black motorcycle rolled into view between the trees, its engine a low, predatory purr. The rider was massive, his silhouette broad and dangerous as he killed the engine and swung a leg over the bike. Ryder Blackfang, The Alpha of Blackfang pack. He stepped forward, boots crunching on leaves. He didn’t look at the Ironclaws at first. He looked at Eyrix. Slowly, Ryder crouched in front of him. The man’s eyes were an unnerving, icy gray, reflecting the moonlight. His scent hit Eyrix like a wall—steel, and something darkly intoxicating beneath it.
