The madness of life

The madness of life

Among other things, another strange detail in this murder disturbed Anactius: the victim's body exuded a perfumed scent of Coco Chanel perfume. Inaction, sorry for the delay, eternal traffic jams on the way to Moscow. "Ractus, Sometimes. "Did you find anything?" "I think we're dealing with a serial killer." But so far, there are more questions than answers. - What answers do you already have? "He carved his name 'Mathematician' on the victim's belly." "Yeah, we got a complete nutcase this time. Is not the word! So he made a rectangle out of the victim's body parts.

Secrets of An Omega

Secrets of An Omega

"You've grown, my dear..." It was him, my torturer. The torturer that got away... He killed my parents. The only rogue who wasn't an omega. The one murderer I hadn’t been able to kill. "Adamson." I uttered.

COLOURS OF THE DEVIL

COLOURS OF THE DEVIL

she finished, swallowing the painful lump in her throat. “But I don't want to kill you. I will if you push me to. Don't you see Pebbles? You're the only coloured girl I wished to fuck over and over again,” he laughed maniacally while he pointed the gun at Pebbles' chest. “My pretty Pebbles." She flinched at his nickname for her,“ I only strangled the others because they looked like you; their curly hair, grey eyes, or their freckled nose,” he closed his eyes momentarily, reminiscing on his sick memories. Pebbles tiptoed closer to the kettle on the counter. She stopped when his eyes shot open. She knew he was a rapist, but here he was declaring he was a murderer too. “I would imagine that the

IF THIS ISN'T ONE OF THE BEST BOOKS I'VE READ ON AN APP LIKE THIS, THEN I DON'T KNOW WHAT IS. This book has the most unique plot ever. The writing is some professional sh¡t, plus the characters are so real. Finally, a book that's not about CEOs or werewolves. Enjoyed every single chapter. Great job!

This book is so emotional. It makes my heart bleed for poor pebble. I can't take the pain but when she meets Ace I love the beautiful relations they share it's magical and it's like a fairytale with hurdles that the princess needs to cross before she make it to finish line. Please just read the book

"What!" Alice and Powell exclaims in unison with wide eyes. "It must be him who killed my daughter. Son of a bitch!" Murder Motel

Owen tells them. “Liv kept repeating the phrase 'The master of the damned is but a puppet to the doom..' She pondered it for a long while before she turned to me with wide eyes to ask me 'Could he or she be talking about a killer?' Then she held up a hand, like I was going to interrupt her. She said 'Just think about it for a moment.. most serial killers kill because they like it. Right? They get this sick, twisted little thrill from it. Like your brother. So if a 'master of the damned is but a puppet to the doom' could he be saying that a killer is merely a slave to his own sadistic whims? That a man kills because he is drawn to and he can't help himself?' She looked so cute, being so serio

He says. That I am inclined to believe since her mother was a witch and since he just said ‘late mother,’ I assume she finally died. Christ, there’s a lot for Umiko to spill later on, and the more I find out, the angrier I seem to get. I know that I have no right to feel angry after everything I’ve done, though. “That must be a relief for her,” I say, then notice the blood on his fingers again. “So you killed Tsukishima, then?”

I usually rate books at the end of reading them but I already know I will love this one by the end. Every time J Tarr puts up a new book I say, this one is my new favorite and she has done it again! I am loving the main characters far more than I expected and find myself craving updates like crack!

This book did not disappoint! It had a bit of everything so it kept me at the edge of my seat. The passion, the pain, the drama and love were all superbly executed. I only wish to know what book comes after Creed???? I have read all before it and want to keep reading in the correct order(spinoffs).

CAKE's Evidence

CAKE's Evidence

“The school doctor’s murder! Hibara was accused by Mr. Front Page as the killer but a few days later, the real killer was found. It was Benjamin Tan.” “Benjamin from the Taekwondo Club?” Toto nodded, “Yes, him!” He raised a finger, “Oh! I also know about your little LQ last Monday.” “LQ!? That’s preposterous!” The Detective exclaimed. “We did not have a lover’s quarrel because, in the very first place, we are NOT labeled that way.” “Yeah, we’re just friends. Kind of,” I added awkwardly. “ ’Crime-solving partners’ sounds better.”

Eternal damnation

Eternal damnation

The Body is taken away and hidden, and the killer in this case is often difficult to catch. Disorganised- kills spontaneously, inadequate socially and sexually, does menial labour and has a low IQ. Crime scene is sloppy, even random. Body is left at crime scene, no attempt made to conceal it. Frequently the killer lives nearby and knows the victim, it’s also quite sudden. As there now has been four murders, all victims are the same, found heavily mutilated and dumped in streets. We could speculate that the murderer is deliberately “taunting” police. He/she probably has some massive grudge against the police force, and wants to make the police look inadequate” “Asshole” muttered Smith

Chasing Kitsune

Chasing Kitsune

I dismissed instead focusing on the reports. Some of these were gruesome, but always if they were murders, the weapon was a katana. We knew the killer was a female but only because one of the victims, a victim who wasn’t meant to be killed but left alive as a warning, said their assailant was a buxom woman dressed in a skin-tight black jumpsuit wearing a kitsune mask. And as if she was teasing us, she would leave a card that had the image of a kitsune mask.

Once you start, u won't be able to put this down!!! I sure couldn't. Great story, characters are amazing, especially the FL is going to blow your mind with her personality! There's no way to go wrong with Bryant's books!! Her writing is truly captivating, her characters are believable. Enjoy!)

This is probably one of my favorites from the author. It was well written and puts an interesting spin on Girl Power. I loved how Yuri was just risqué enough to keep me hooked. Yuri/Kitsune are the bada$$ I wish I could be. Hibiki is the perfect pairing for her, complementing not overshadowing her.

Frequently Asked Questions

The term 'otaku' is such a fascinating cultural phenomenon that I love unpacking! Originally from Japan, it’s often used to describe someone with an intense, almost obsessive passion for a particular hobby—usually anime, manga, or games. But it’s not just about liking something; it’s about diving deep into the lore, collecting merch, attending conventions, and maybe even learning Japanese to consume raw content. Some people wear the label proudly, while others see it as a bit stigmatized because of stereotypes about social awkwardness. Personally, I think being an otaku is about celebrating what you love without shame, though balance is key so it doesn’t consume your entire life.

What’s really interesting is how the meaning shifts depending on context. In Japan, 'otaku' can sometimes carry a negative connotation, implying someone who’s withdrawn from society. But overseas, especially in Western fandoms, it’s often reclaimed as a badge of honor. The community aspects—like cosplay, fan theories, or even creating doujinshi—turn it into something vibrant and collective. Whether you call yourself an otaku or just a 'hardcore fan,' it’s all about that joyful immersion in a fictional world that feels more real than reality sometimes.
