Novel & Cerita Outline Owl Tattoo Drawing

A date, 12-08-1994, was etched beneath the wolf's heart. Other than that, I saw a vividly drawn skull. A large knife was plunged through the top of the skull and cracks on the skull were shown around it. In capital letters ‘FEAR NO ONE’ was scrawled around the knife’s blade. In the very center of his back, a large wolf’s head with a majestic crown sitting on top of it was inked into his skin. Beneath it, a map of the North was drawn. On the left side of his back, I saw a compass tattoo.

Symbols of direction, loss, and belonging—ones few people knew how to read. He moved across the soft carpet, his steps heavy, yet guided by an invisible pull. He pushed open the bedroom door and turned on the light. What he saw made him stop. There, stretched across the bed, was her. Olívia. Faris, one of the non-affiliated wolfs drew it. He said he saw it on a lot of the wolves who held them captive. We believe this is how they identify each other. It's always in blue ink on their forearm." Amelie hands me the drawing. "This will help narrow down who joined and who has been forced to help them. This is great!" I can't believe they are dumb enough to mark themselves. They are making it easy.

In the end, I think they turned out great. Not that I knew what the others were for but there was also a frog on a log, a humming bird and a fat Cardinal. The very last one I was drawing was for Arlo. He got those picture for us, or more for me. It was of a wolf. It’s head was downward with his teeth showing. The hair was standing straight up with a human skull under it’s paw. There wasn’t any flesh on it, just the bones. Originally, I was going to make it a dead rabbit or something but this seemed appropriate. Keeping this one black and white, kept some of the mystery alive. “Charlotte??” Waylon yelled as he was coming in.

I whisper more towards myself. The tattoo is of no ordinary design. The intricate details almost seem inhumanly made. Swirls of dusty-grey storm clouds surround a midnight-blue sword. They begin at the handles and spiral throughout the golden blade. Behind the sword lays black and blue tip wings. Each feather tip is like a tempestuous addiction. The closer I come, I want to touch it. Visions of the wings wrapping around me, never allowing me to escape, consume my thoughts. I look up at Raquel and shiver, not understanding how a tattoo could be so powerful.

Noah nods and approaches the guy. We take seats on a large sofa that the boy keeps here while he turns on the air conditioning and a little music while he starts to draw. The boy is quite professional in his work without paying too much attention to the conversation we are making. Finally, he approaches us with his sketchbook, revealing the wolf design in a linear format. "We'll add shadows and details like the ones they have here, but this is the basic design." Turning the page, he shows the enhanced version. Noah praises, "Damn, man, you've nailed it! It's so impressive, it's making me want to touch up my tattoo!" The boy chuckles at Noah's remark.

He carried a rolled-up set of paper blueprints tucked tightly under his armpit. "Morning, lovebirds," Owen called out, leaning his weight heavily onto his wooden crutches as he stopped near the kitchen table. He unrolled the thick paper across the clean wooden surface, using a heavy ceramic mug to hold down one corner. "I spent the last two hours sitting on the porch drawing up the designs for the wedding arch." Cassian released his hold on Elowen’s waist and stepped over to the table, leaning down to inspect the blue ink drawings. Elowen followed right beside him, resting her hand lightly on his uninjured shoulder.

“Well then I’m going to get a big ass neck tattoo!” He immediately started choking on his bite of lobster and had to spit it into his napkin. “What?!” “Yeah. I was thinking of getting an owl right here,” I told him, touching the base of my neck. “The eyes would be right here, and the wings would go over my breasts. It would have a shackle around its leg with the ball being my belly button. What do you think? Pretty awesome, right?” He downed another glass of wine. “Y-yeah. Pretty awesome.”

Esmeray held her forearm up, examining the intricate tattoo that adorned her skin. The tattoo depicted a majestic wolf, its eyes fierce and determined, surrounded by swirling patterns that seemed to dance with a life of their own. The lines were bold and precise, giving the impression of strength and resilience. “This tattoo is so unique,” Esmeray remarked, tracing her fingers over the contours of the design. “I’ve always felt a connection to it, but I never knew why.”

“When did you get that tattoo?” From the few undone buttons, I could see dark blue ink marks spread across his chest. It looked like the tail of an animal, but it was faint, and the rest of the drawing was covered by his shirt. I was so sure it was a tattoo, and that was an unusual development. He smirked and slowly pulled out his shirt so I could see the tattoo. Slowly, my eyes ran up his chest, and the drawing began to make sense.
