"You were asked to organize these history books, not to read them one by one," Scarlett said, crossing her arms in front of her chest. Xavier blushed and smiled in embarrassment, then he placed the history books about werewolf clans, especially the Celestria clan, back into the box that had been provided.

Owen whispered, the word slipping out before he could stop it. Jax's expression tightened with raw hunger. He grabbed Owen by the hips and walked him backward, out of the reading area and into the dark aisle between the tall bookshelves. Owen's back hit the solid wood of a shelf, and a few books rattled above him. Jax pressed his heavy body against Owen's, pinning him to the shelves. "I'm going to make you feel so good," Jax said, his voice a low rumble against Owen's neck. He kissed and bit his way down Owen's throat, marking the pale skin with red patches. Owen moaned loudly, the sound echoing off the rows of books.

"Alright, get what you need and meet us back here in an hour." Xolvion said as he took his hands back. The two nodded as they got their act back together. "Alright. My name is Owen. And this is Gwen." Owen said as he introduced himself and his partner. Xolvion nodded, flashing them a smile. "I am Xolvion, and this here is Crystal. A pleasure to meet you." He said, noticing Gwen blush a little as she looked into his eyes.

They were disappointed by the unexpected turn of events, and their desires remained unsatisfied. A crewman approached Xavier, gently extending a book that the mysterious author had borrowed the night before. Xavier's interest was immediately sparked as he opened the book, his gaze drawn directly to a marked page that held a surprise. As his gaze settled on the paper, Xavier was overcome with awe. At the very beginning of the specified page, there was a note written by the enigmatic author himself. It was a private message, intended just for Xavier, a reader who adored the author's work.
