The Vow that Broke the Moon

The Vow that Broke the Moon

Nyx couldn't sleep. The drawing of the Skinwalker from Corvus's research haunted her—a crude sketch rendered in brown ink that had faded to sepia over centuries. The figure was hunched, its limbs too long, its face a featureless void with hollow eyes that seemed to follow her even when she turned away. Abomination had been scratched beneath it in a spidery hand, the word carved into the parchment with enough pressure to leave grooves. Someone had watched the genocide of her kind and chosen that word. Someone had documented their destruction with clinical precision and called them abominations.

The Ominous: Some play it safe, heroes don't

They hoped that William would soon take him down. As the two of them turned around to walk away, Holly screamed as she tumbled upon something. Olivia turned around to have a look and to her horror she could see her overpowered by her doppelgänger. She appeared to be incapacitated by her in her body and her mind. Olivia yelled for William to see if he was still around but he did not respond at all. Olivia realized that she and Holly were on their own now and they must find a way to fight this sinister creature and escape this mansion.

Lonely Mafia Shall We Love

Lonely Mafia Shall We Love

"You know her 18th adopter claimed that Olivia clawed and tore most furniture in the house like the couch, chair, tables, and walls as well. Olivia denied the facts by affirming that a feral lion hybrid came inside the house and fought with her." "One time, she apparently gnawed every electrical cable in the adopter's house after turning off the power." "And another time, in her wolf form, she opened the adopter's car and pissed inside so that every other animal in the vicinity came to do the same to marl their territory. It was so bad the adopter had to buy a whole new car." "You know I just love her" Steven's face was filled with happy smiles. "Oh my god, she is so wicked. I already love h

Alpha's Mate

Alpha's Mate

“What did you do?” Amelia’s smile widened. “I called forth the end.” The forest shuddered, and from the darkness, something massive moved. A shape loomed between the trees, its glowing red eyes locking onto Olivia. It was a beast unlike anything she had ever seen—taller than any wolf, its body made of shifting shadows, its fangs dripping with black ichor. A wraithborn. A creature of pure dark magic. A nightmare made flesh. And it was hunting her.

My Mate's Father is My Abuser

My Mate's Father is My Abuser

He should have convinced her to not come… so far convincing her of anything has been successful… Oliver climbed up the side of the warehouse to get a better view through the window. He looked in, seeing nothing, it was completely empty, no sounds, nothing. Just as he was about to head down and go into the warehouse, at the last second he heard them. Barely dodging as a vampire flew over him. Oliver spun to look at him, it was Augustis, “So you’re the rouge coming to derail our system. Why is a werewolf going against his own kind?”

E.C. EDWARDS - The Mighty Antimagic Spell

E.C. EDWARDS - The Mighty Antimagic Spell

All this time, the odious creature placed the cage where Abigail was on a rock he used as a table, doing all this with the ease of moving a glass from one place to another. Approaching ever closer, Elizabeth managed to better understand the features of the ogre. It resembled a huge man only in terms of stature; the rest was ... monstrosity. His arms ended with huge claws that touched the ground even when the beast was standing. His shoulders were as big and strong as the bears’ that roamed in the forests of North America. The creature looked at Abigail from time to time, saying the same words: “You stay ... my wife. Dine with me,” the monster pointed at Alexander, striving to keep the fire a

Her Choice To Make

Her Choice To Make

Some were torn open; others lay still with eyes wide in horror. My breath caught in my throat. I stumbled back, pressing my hand over my mouth to keep the scream from tearing out. What was this? Who did this? My eyes scanned the tree line, and that’s when I saw the shapes, shadows with glowing eyes. Wolves. At least a dozen, crouched low, eyes locked on the house like predators waiting for the right moment to strike. At their center stood a figure in a silver cloak. Olivia. Lucian’s sister.

Gigi instantly followed suit, doing the same thing. I barely processed what had happened when a scream left my lips at the monster that emerged. Her form was that of a wolf that had begun decaying, skin eaten away by bacteria, exposing the bones and organs inside her on her chest and legs. Her eyes switched to night vision and glowed a terrifying red. It was as if a zombie had climbed its way to earth in order to feed on all our pups.

The White Wolf Luna

The White Wolf Luna

Their face was oddly devoid of emotion, and when they spoke, their voice held an unnatural reverberation, as if several creatures spoke together. “Selene Varrow,” they said. “You should not exist.” The words chilled her to the bone. “What?” she breathed. The second figure strode forward, pulling down their hood to show razor-edged features and skin as white as the moon. Their eyes travelled over her like she was an enigma they wanted to solve. “You’re an abomination,” said the pale one, the voice flat, lacking emotion. “The connection between wolf and spirit should have been cut long ago. And yet there you are — evidence of an anomaly that isn’t supposed to be.”

“We can bring them back to the pack cells for now.” “Happy to torture them for you,” Alex offered. “After all, I’m sure you have better things to do.” “These motherfuckers showed up here on my wedding day. There’s no fucking way I’m not going to torture them myself.” Blake’s eyes turned evil. “I want at least a few minutes with them. Then they’re all yours, Adalwolf. Luke, find some warriors to sniff the rest of the place out to make sure there are no others.” “On it,” Luke replied, heading back toward the wedding.

I thought this book was well developed and I loved how it the story contined on involving both Alex and Blake's pack. I felt this story had more self reflection and perhaps self doubt with some of the MCs. But, honestly I think that is what made the bonds stronger and independently grow.

This book is already so much better than the first. I'm hoping that Jasmine doesn't remain a doormat with Lucy and she gets her comeuppance. I also hope Luke regrets his decision and becomes jealous. Jasmine deserves better than those 2. love Blake! Talia and Alex story definitely intriguing.
