Gamma Richards is gamma born from the Luna Moon Pack, so I know he will be a welcome addition to our pack. I expect you all to give him the respect he deserves. The reports I’ve gotten so far have all been good. I would expect nothing less from you all.” I pause and take a breath.

I can see it in all of them, there is doubt and I don’t blame them. Several more introductions come. There is Alpha Xander and Luna Jacey from the Northern Moon pack, Alpha Emmett and Luna Ka from the Northern Pines pack, Luna Lomasi from the Northern Flower pack, and Alpha Takoda and Luna Rai from the Northern Thunder pack. I will never remember all of their names.

“Next, I have applied for this pack to become official. Alphas Rik, Liam and Anders supported our claim, and we should know in the next couple of days if the application was approved.” The room erupts in loud cheering and foot stomping. “Once the application is approved, we will have an official ceremony naming all of your ranked pack members and when everyone has pledged their loyalty to us and this pack, we will have a pack link.” More cheers.

This year, it came from Johnathon Davis. I pull up my list of packs and ranked members. Johnathon Davis isn’t a current or retired ranked member in any of the packs. Shit. I know they accept warriors who they think can achieve the status of the elite warrior, but that will be like finding a needle in a haystack, even knowing his last name.

Miral spoke in a loud tone. Aditya looked at her, eager to hear her words. Miral walked towards him, standing in front of him, at a distance of no more than an inch, peering into his eyes with sheer confidence. "I am an MLA now, so remember one thing. I sigh and rub circles on Amelie's back to calm her before she rips the sofa cushion apart. "He's still in France with Grandma. I'll talk to dad." She releases the cushion and leans into my shoulder. Then we have Wade Darvin of the Motor City Pack, Reed Tarlo of the White Ridge Pack. Last and also the ringleader Nox Jericho of the Blue Crescent Pack. Those ten packs make up this alliance." Marcus sinks back into the sofa, pulling Jordan close to his side. She's still upset about her birth pack. I can't blame her for that.

The warrior opened his eyes. “They were fast.” I leaned closer. “How many?” “Too many.” “Did you recognize their faces?” He shook his head. “They covered them.” “Did they have pack markings?” “No.” I exchanged a look with the healer. No markings. That bothered me. A pack usually wanted its enemies to know who had attacked. These attackers had wanted the opposite. Kael entered the infirmary. His expression was cold. “How bad?” The healer stood. “Seven injured.” “Any dead?”

Geeze, I was going to get myself in trouble if I kept making words up and guessing names. The scruffy guy grinned. "Not sexily is the key part of that phrase. We're all packmates, which means we're brothers. Jesse trusts us, but not infinitely. If we hit on you, he'd still try to kill us." So theoretically… I could get myself out of Moon Ridge by kissing his packmates so the wolf attacked them. It wasn't the most ethical plan I'd ever had, but it could save my life from a bunch of werewolves, so I'd roll with it.

Gamma Eric slowly nodded his head. “It's not what you expected, but I have brought you the news I have just received. It has HER involvement.” Gamma Eric replied in a low tone. It intrigued the Alpha king. “Well, then! Tell me, whatever it is.” Alpha King asked in excitement. “I just received a letter from Loid Lunero Cougar. He is rebuilding his mother's pack, the Moonstone pack.” Gamma Eric informed the Alpha king. “And how does it involve Miss Woods?” Alpha King asked curiously.
