I thought for a moment and eventually flipped the first page of the book open. A diagram showing a Pentagram was inscribed on the first page, and what became rather much creepier was the realization that it was glowing. I flipped to the next page and found words scattered across the book. They didn't make any sense despite being written in English; I couldn't find any meaningful insight from the wording. Almost giving up on the book, my eyes caught a piece of paper on the next page, and I flipped it open to find a sentence written on it. 'Only way to become an adept of the book of shadows is to learn the art of reading backwards.'

I grinned. I opened a page of the most boring book on the shelf, Kyro despises the idea of war thus the book 'The Art of War' by Sun Tzu, is misplaced to be in this shelf. He must have left a message or a clue inside that he kept such book in his room. Or maybe, someone has intentionally taken that and kept it so no one would know what's written in that page.

I pulled another one out and was about how to buy your time, authored by Dan Martell. Again and again, nothing I found was useful. I nearly gave up when my eyes fell on a bigger book. It was actually one of the biggest books there. It had a yellow cover and I pulled it out, and glanced at it, my eyes glinting at the title, ‘Werewolf And Its Powers’. Flipping through it, the first pages had no significance so I kept on turning pages, hoping to dig out what I wanted. And eventually I paused, stopping to read what it was written.
