Daniel remarked as he turned to walk away from the foor. They now have the appearance of a little ant. Extensive, overly large, and a large number of volume books. Only awe could be felt in Amira's chest at the time, no other feelings. In her entire life, she has never seen so many books as she has today. Daniel was already holding books in his hand within a few minutes of their spinning, something Amira was completely unaware of. The books are quite large. Amira wasn't sure if he would be able to finish reading them.

I bet that had to be a tremendous shock for her. I skim through the pages, finding nothing before moving to the next book, finding it equally uninteresting and completely foreign as I move from one to the next until I find one that’s binding is cracked and almost puffy in appearance. I tip it to the side, trying to discern if there is something inside the binding or if it is just naturally like that. A small press to the center of the spine and I hear the crackle of paper and I know I’ve found something.

The knowledge contained within the book was unlike anything I had ever seen before, and I knew that it would change my life forever. When I made to hold the book, I noticed its intricate designs etched into the cover. The patterns were so detailed and precise, it was as if they had been carved by hand. I ran my fingers over the designs, feeling the grooves and ridges beneath my fingertips. The book felt ancient, as if it had been around for centuries.

Jake said and we were still cuddling each other when he said so. "Yes trust me, all day and night am still progressing am almost in half of the page, since the book is quite large, and the book is designed in a way that one cannot jump to the last pages of the book unless they would end up tearing it," I said. I relaxed in my seat and flipped the first page. But it seems not only the first page is missing, but there are also up to 30 pages are missing. The book totally has 60 pages, each has 12 to 15 lines.

It was silent now, aside from my footsteps, but I still could imagine just how magical it felt when the piano at the center of the room was being played. I kept searching the library; none of the titles stood out to me so I gave up and grabbed the book that was sitting in a cozy-looking chair. I plopped myself down and flipped through the first few pages. My eyebrows furrowed as I closed the book and reread the title. "The Origin of Shifters?" I murmured. This book should be thousands of pages long with obnoxiously dense material, but the one in my hands was maybe a hundred pages and full of hand-drawn pictures.

She said, standing up my eyes wide too shocked to even utter a single word as I looked at the books under the desk that she was talking about. Each book was like a bible, probably having more than a thousand pages and I had to read twenty of them in twenty-four hours. My head was already throbbing as Elizabeth closed the door behind her, my body slumping against the chair, all the excitement of working gone leaving nothing but dread. I picked up the first book, it being so heavy it felt like my arm would fall off. My hand turned the thick leather page, flipping through the pages.

It was small. She registered that first — the specific dimensions of it, smaller than a standard notebook, the kind that fit in a jacket pocket, dark green cover with a worn quality that was not aesthetic but actual, the wear of something that had been handled regularly over a period of time. She registered the weight of it, which was the dense weight of pages that had been written on rather than the airy weight of pages that hadn't. She registered the particular quality of its closure, the elastic band around it in the way of certain notebooks, the elastic gone slightly loose with age. She held it.

I ask again for clarification. "I told you. Once you've read the entire book," he says nonchalantly. "The book is, like, 500 pages. That'll take me ages. By the time we start, I won't even remember what's on the first ten pages," I grumble. "Then you'd better get started, little bean," he teases.
