Papa Wolf And The Puppy Chapter 1 소설 & 이야기

So she didn’t really pay any attention to Deanna, who carried on to say, "Can't you try to understand how hard we want to see our grandson?" No replies from her daughter. Just the sound of closet doors smashing open and close. “Heather? Heather? Are you listening to me? Heather…" Heather is a complete mess. She has no idea where the shovel is, and that burning smell is coming towards her from the stove. Just when she is about to run out of patience, a half-meter long wolf pup dashes out and bites on her pants. Heather cries out. “Jeremi! When did you shift?” The wolf pup keeps dragging her by the pants till she is forced to come with it.

My body feels heavy, but my mind… my mind is awake now. Alive, loud and vivid. Images slice through me in rapid flashes—the bar, Zeke’s infuriating smile, my rage boiling over, leaving the bar. Then the scent in the air. Sweet, sickly, wrong. The shadow following me. My legs pumping, not as legs but as something more. Paws. My bones snapping and reforming, my skin tearing apart to make way for fur. A wolf. My wolf. The memories don't stop there. They keep going to the halloween night—the cage. The black wolf beneath silver bars. Ezekiel’s eyes staring into mine.

He and I were sitting on the visitor's chair facing each other with the files heaped all around us. I felt bad for a millisecond then shook it off because despite his efforts to connect me with one of these ‘eligible wolves’ they just weren’t doing anything for me. My mate had to be out there. Wasn’t he? I was a normal, healthy wolf from a strong bloodline. Even though my mother was human, I’d been born with my powers and I’d developed the way every other wolf pup had, reaching my milestones at the proper age. Except for that of a mate.

I could already imagine how loved and cherished they would be at home with their parents and siblings. I looked around for the other she-wolf but did not see her in the room. As long as we kept these children safe, we could easily deal with the other she-wolf. Phoenix signaled that we step forward into the room. “Do not speak or move. We are not here to hurt you. We are here to rescue the pups,” Papa commanded her. The she-wolf’s eyes widened in realization that she was not alone. Papa lowered the glamour so that she could see us. Little bit was startled, but he did not cry or scream. He was such a brave pup. His brother also was startled, but he had his Alpha face on already. He would grow

DAPHINE POV The wolves moved in slowly, surrounding us in a wide circle. The Alpha stood in front of me, her body tense and ready for battle. I stood behind her, my heart pounding in my chest. I had never been in a situation like this before, and I wasn't sure what to do. I felt a warm, wet nose nudge my hand, and I looked down to see the pup looking up at me. He looked scared, but he was trying to be brave. I reached down and stroked his head, trying to give him some comfort.

It's been ten years since I followed my fated mate, Grace Murphy, into the human world. Her childhood friend, Fred Williams, is dying. His one last wish? To experience marriage. Grace said yes. She told me she wanted to give her wedding to Fred. I didn't cry. I didn't fight. I just smiled, slid the ring off my finger, and handed it back to her. She brought Fred home and said she wanted to give him a home. I said, “Okay,” softly, and stepped aside—clean, neat, no fuss. She wanted to take Fred to Hawaii—the honeymoon destination I'd been dreaming about for years. I still helped her book everything, calm and composed. The day she boarded that plane, I finally answered the summons from my pack.

Bridget asked with confusion, "What's the matter?" Clara, tasked with caring for his young wolf, bowed nervously to her leader and stammered, "My leader, I was dressing your pet's wounds... but for some reason, it suddenly started howling…” Bridget frowned and quickly approached the wolf pup. Sitting down gently, his typically cold, golden eyes softened upon contact with the tiny, fluffy creature. His large, calloused hand lightly touched the cringing pup, stroking it very gently. However, it seemed the young wolf was not accustomed to being touched, so it tensed up, turning its small body to warily regard him.

The next thing I know I hear bones snapping and I am standing on four paws. What the actual fuck? I’m not supposed to get my wolf for another year, but I am definitely a wolf right now. I feel myself charging at the wolf. I watch as this other form of myself clamps its jaws around the wolf's neck and throws it into a tree. It gets up shaking its fur. I stalk towards it growling low. My wolf plans to end this animal for hurting our sister, and I am all for it. But I dont get the chance to. Daddy gets to him first. He grabs the wolf with his bare hands and snapps it’s neck. Its tongue lols out to the side as its limp body hits the ground.

My Dad started explaining to me what we planned to do “ Mama and I will shift close to midnight to hopefully encourage your wolf forward…” I nod at him, I cant wait for my wolf to meet my Mum and Dad’s. My Dad’s wolf is big, almost the same size as an Alpha wolf which is unsual, and strong, which is needed for a Beta, he is a deep grey colour, and has deep brown eyes. He was called Pax.

Having gathered her thoughts, Anika decided that it was time to take action and interrogate him to find out what was happening. - So, now tell me, what or who are you? - the girl demanded, holding the mop at the ready like a spear. - Why did you become attached to me? And why the hell do you become a human in my house, but a dog outside the door? The guy glanced sideways at her, chewing and swallowing his food. Anika, feeling his gaze on her, clutched the mop tighter. “Well, first of all, I’m not a dog, but a wolf,” the guy beamed with a smile, “if you’re so bad at understanding.”
