As he made his way to his rooms, Nate struggled with the fog in his brain as tiny pieces of the events of the night before flashed in and out. He vaguely recalled a woman in the maze who was dressed as Cleopatra. Flashes of Elise making love to him mixed with the image of Cleopatra. His mind was clearly playing tricks on him. Elise would never dream of jeopardizing her reputation by coupling with him so wantonly within the confines of the maze; especially at a crush. He saw himself knocking down two men who were taunting Cleopatra. Then, he was making love to Elise again.
