Claiming The Rejected Omega

Claiming The Rejected Omega

With trembling hands, she gingerly unfolded the parchment, revealing a labyrinth of delicate cursive script, a map to the heart of her deepest mysteries. As Chloe's eyes scanned the words, her breath caught in her throat, and her pulse quickened. The letter spoke of long-kept secrets, a web intricately woven with threads of deceit and betrayal. Each word unfurled a dark truth, threatening to shatter the fragile foundation of everything she thought she knew. Doubt, like venom, coursed through her veins, eroding trust and leaving her trembling on the precipice of an uncharted abyss.

There are too many inconsistencies in storyline. Fir example, Emily is to proven guilty at the same time proven innocent by Chloe and her team. Max is the culprit then Max is helping Emily. Lucas is Emily brother, then Lucas is prosecuting Emily. It's really difficult to follow the story.

It could be a good story, but it is translated very poorly. Many phrases make no sense at all, and it’s too difficult to try to understand what is meant. I hope the author considers using a better translator, in future.

She clearly stated that she wasn’t ready to marry a cripple. The crowd kept quiet because they were now confused. ” How sure are you people that this was my hand writing? Clearly it has been forged by her” Paula smiled mischievously still hoping on the crowds support. At that moment, a document containing her handwriting and signature appeared on the screen again leaving everyone astonished. There was no room for doubt. It was Paula’s personal diary detailing her thoughts of running away in order to avoid unwanted marriage. she couldn’t deny it anymore but she was furious.

My Professor, My Enemy, My Mate

"These are documents, testimony, things that have been accumulated over the years. I don't want you to have to believe me. Read them. Decide for yourself what sort of man Duaine is." I switched to the next, and the next, my hands moist with sweat. My heart sank with every sentence, every signature, every affidavit that staining Alpha Duaine with colors I did not want to accept. "This cannot be true". But the documents glared at me, unyielding and pitiless. I glanced at Nathan, my eyes filling with tears. "I don't believe this".

The Charismatic Charlie Wade

The Charismatic Charlie Wade

Sighing, he then told Zachary what he was worried about, "Look, I'm not complaining or doubting you, but I just mean to ask… could the sculpture really be medieval, as Raymond said?" "Nope. No chance!" Zachary shook his head, endlessly confident. At the same time, he was clear about Jacob's irresolute, even skeptical nature, as well as his unreasonable confidence that he was possessed by the goddess of luck. As such, he continued, "Now, let's take an example: could you really get a real Hermes handbag from a counterfeit workshop? That's basically what Raymond is claiming to be happening here, and he's also claiming more than that—as if it belonged in the personal collection of a former king.

The Lost Angel: Pilgrims

The Lost Angel: Pilgrims

“There’s no mention like that in there.” “Like what?” Elena asked. “That’s it’s all the root of all evils,” he replied. “That’s the same assumption,” she replied. “I’m done here. This place is so dead. I could not tell how long. There are no fossils available except for the papers. But papers are so tricky. They can be rewritten, and therefore, we could not trust it to calculate how long this place has been.” Jason did not argue. She just watched him as he sheepishly scrutinized the crumpled place she just disturbed. “You do not trust the papers but you have read each of the scrolls. How does that help you?”

"Papyrus. I know sheep's vellum was more durable and more common in those days, but it had to be papyrus. The thinner the best." "Okay." "Before the papyrus was inserted into the cryptex's compartment, it was rolled around a delicate glass vial." She tipped the cryptex, and the liquid inside gurled. "A vial of liquid." "Liquid what?" Sophie smiled. "Vinegar." Jim hesitated a moment and then began nodding. "Brilliant."

Elise and the Scorpion King (Magical Journey Series Book 1)

She was astonished, petrified and froze like a carved stone. Elise dusted off her hands and smiled at Zadi. “Well, that’s it. Thank you for the suggestion, Zadi. Now, what’s next?” “Take a look at that bound thing. There’s something nagging me that we can use it,” Zadi said thoughtfully. Her eyes fixed on that bound thing on the altar. They both sauntered closer to the altar. Elise took out the papyrus roll inside the transparent cloth. “What’s this?” she asked Zadi. The pygmy peered at it with her jaw dropped down. “What is it, Zadi?” she asked again at the silent woman.

Kerpen looked like he was going to speak again but Sillicoe put his hand on his shoulder to silence him and spoke himself, genuinely interested. “What makes him think that and if he believes that to be true, why has he never gone public?” “Well, he says that documents that are dated hundreds of years apart appear to be written on the same paper and sometimes in the same handwriting. The reason he has not gone public is because he has not been allowed to test the documents to prove his concerns and he is also worried about incurring of the wrath of the Church. It does look like the author of ‘The Da Vinci Code’ has done very thorough research, but on a skewed version of history unfortunately.

"You're human. A princess." Gabriel's disbelief was a fierce, cutting presence, a sharp, vivid energy that filled the space with life and the thrill of discovery. "This can't be right," he growled. His disbelief was a fierce, cutting presence, a sharp, vivid energy that filled the space with life and the thrill of discovery. "You're human. A princess." Lucas's excitement was a bright, uncontained energy, a vivid, living force that filled the space with life and the thrill of discovery. He touched the scroll reverently, his eyes a bright, widening presence that filled the space with life and the thrill of discovery.
