We went quiet for a while until old man Lazarus spoke up again, this time, there was a gentle smile on his face. “A smile suits you better, Avery.” I paused for a bit and my eyes dimmed a little, but remembering old man Lazarus's words that we were in this together, I felt my face lit up again. “It does. You should learn from me, maybe if you smile more, I might want to call you Gramps.” I said with a smile and he smiled back. I nodded and muttered something with my chin up as if I was praising him for smiling and he clicked his tongue in fake annoyance.

The memories were vivid, and I could almost feel the warmth and closeness we shared. As I remembered the details, a smile spread across my face. I felt grateful for the time spent together and looked forward to creating more memories with her. He said and again stared looking a t the menu, while here my smile dropped a t his comment. "My smile was not creepy okay you Mr. Grumpy Pants...." I shouted i n my mind and tried t o kill him by my eyes draggers. "Umm....havr I done something yesterday? I mean I didn't said anything stupid o r did something.....did I?" I asked him i n a low voice with a very soft tone.

“Not this time.” He smiled, a broken, beautiful smile. And I kissed him again harder.

he said with a smile. He smiled! He is a freaking smile! "Do it again." I said sitting in bed and looking at him with my wide eyes. "Do what again?" he said with knotted brows. "Smile...smile again." He smiles again but not like last time. "Tsk!! No... not like this. The way you did just a while ago." He smiles again...but it was not as real as he did just a while ago. "No....no... no.... just think what you were thinking when you smile that time." I said pouting a bit.

My smile was hesitant and small but it was a smile nonetheless. “Deal.”

She stared at it for a long moment, then smiled—a slow, cold, satisfied smile. “Let’s see how long your perfect little romance lasts,” she says, typing the first careful message into a new draft, “when your past comes knocking.”

I had thought the efficiency was the whole point. "The smile stopped reaching your eyes," Sable said. "Not all the time. You were still you. You still laughed for real sometimes, still had good days. But there was a version of your smile I had not seen in months and I kept waiting for it to come back and it did not." I did not say anything.

Jones muffled, chuckling intermittently. He let out a smile again flashing his tobacco stained teeth(I really messed up in his storyline). Instantly that smile falls off. I smile.
