Curse of the Spotlight

Curse of the Spotlight

I'd be given clothing before I returned to my room again, surely. I refocused on the area. The room was typical of a gothic, punkish woman. Posters of popular alternative bands were on the walls, and some plushies were strewn about in the corner. It was charming to see vampires with something other than sex toys, I admitted to myself, which helped them be more human. A bonus given that certainly wasn't the intent, as she had no one to impress in this room aside from sex.

The Witch's Wolf

The Witch's Wolf

Almost like stepping back in time with all the rococo furniture decorating the place. Large painted portraits lined the walls with varying styles. Men and women with porcelain and tanned skins looking elegant in their dated clothing. The thing that stuck out most was almost all of them had their single color piercing eyes. Some even showing gruesome gore, somehow being made beautiful with the brush strokes. A heavy scent of the undead lingered in the house. Almost like wet dirt and fresh vanilla bean paste had been spread throughout. One scent I could easily make out was Julian's intoxicating roses spread around like I could trace his steps easily.

Alpha Erik

Alpha Erik

Finally, agreeing with the statement but then said it wasn't his idea, they came up with it on their own. "We're here." The girls said in unison. Vin opened the door, stepping out first. Drew and Phoebe followed. Reaching out and helping me down. I looked up at the gothic architecture. The theme of the underworld seems to be black, red, and glass. The church was out of a storybook. The black brick and the arched windows. The hand-carved doors were stretching up to fit a giant. Each carving told a story like back home. But, instead of dragons or stories of a family, these carvings were silhouettes of people and fires—a long path leading up to a throne with skulls and people bowing before it.

Mrs Magnolia
Don’t let the price of the chapters fool you, these are the longest chapters I’ve ever seen. The price is well worth the amount you’re receiving. One of the best books yet, not only does the author do a wonderful job telling the story but also keeps you intrigued the entire time.

Love how this story is written. I have read the entire series and I can say it is a whirlwind of emotions. Alpha Erik is the first of the five book series and it stole my heart from the start. Definitely worth the read! Big chapters too!

The Alpha's Chosen Mate

The Alpha's Chosen Mate

I'm being childish, and shake my head with determination as I watch her walk down the path and disappear into the safe forest, heading towards the main pack grounds. I take a warm shower to ease my tense body, letting the water wash over me and soothe me. Drying my hair, I study the bleached ends and see the colours fading. The fuchsia and lavender tips were something I experimented with when I finished school a while ago, and I liked the prettiness so much I kept it by using permanent colour. Some called it silly or quirky, but I didn't care. I loved bright and pastel colours. My bedroom walls were painted blush pink, my clothes were all sorts of pale and soft hues, and the fresh flowers th

Design of Fate

Design of Fate

Everyone definitely outdid themselves. Rows of crème satin were dropped in arches from the ceiling. Those were crisscrossed with rows of colorful flowers. The Fae put up white, silver, and gold light orbs. There were amazing floral decorations set around the room. The stage was set with two thrones that would then be relocated to the throne room after this. An archway that was designed with draped with black and white satin was the backdrop to it. Black and white were the primary colors associated with the Precoza coven because it was another homage to the duty of them to bring a balance to the vampire world while ensuring that they were brought from the dark and into the light.

I have enjoyed the supernatural diversity in this universe. I thoroughly enjoyed the author's take on Fae as seen through "Fated Soul - Fated Light". I loved learning about the Nabellos and sphinxes in "Fated Power - Fated Destiny". My favorite are the vampires in this book.

I love all of the books in the Fated universe. I am loving this sequel even more than I loved 'His Hunt For Redemption'. Jackson and Zeus are perfect for Imeela. I also love all of the twists and turns when it comes to dealing with the Precoza coven. I can't wait for Kalen's story next.

Paperwork and Hearthbeats

Paperwork and Hearthbeats

“What are you thinking for the stormy aesthetic?” Harper asked curiously, holding up the deep winter swatches which include the colours: midnight, olive, expresso, silver, grey, charcoal, mocha, wine, brick red, ruby, Boysen berry, fuschia, magenta, mustard, honey, Ocea, dark green, forest, jungle, royal purple, mulberry, purple, royal blue, Aegean, and ceru lean. Knox snatched the swatches from her hand, spreading them across the desk like he was dealing a winning hand in a high-stakes game. His parrot green eyes darted over then, his lips moving silently as he processed each colour. “Stormy aesthetic,” he repeated, tasting the words. "Aye, it's got tae feel heavy. Atmospheric. No' just dar

Silenced By The Billionaire

Silenced By The Billionaire

Hale studied the gown silently for a long moment. Then his expression softened with something that looked almost sad. “You’re adjusting faster than I expected.” A bitter laugh escaped me. “Adjusting?” I repeated. “I’m surviving. There’s a difference.” The room fell quiet again. I reached for my sketchbook and flipped through several pages before stopping abruptly. One design in particular made my stomach twist. Dark colors, sharp edges with dangerous elegance. Without meaning to, I had designed something inspired by Dante. Powerful, seductive and terrifying.

Toxic Marriage

Toxic Marriage

I felt like if I had him on my side, I'd have all the heavens beside me giving me the power to prevail over every obstacle. "You are right. I'll do it." I said, wiping my tears. We slowly pulled away as he held my hand and showed me around the home. It was much like a normal mansion but all these decorations and everything are to my liking. They are so beautiful. He knows I love Gothic themes, so the house is embellished with dark colors like red, purple and black. It felt eerie but not in a bad way. I just used to esteem these themes a lot and now having one is giving me so much to my contentment. "Do you like it?" He asked, leaning on the column present in the dining hall.

The Lycan King's Hybrid Queen

The Lycan King's Hybrid Queen

Anders looked around the space, “Wow.” “This is so, my mom.” I grinned at him as I looked at the gothic styled room. Red and black bedding on a large canopy bed with black dressers and a mirror. In the corner was a red couch and chair and a black coffee table. Skulls and symbols decorated the walls and shelves. A larger bookshelf stood beside the sitting area filled with books on myths, legends, romance, and the occult. I walked over to a door and opened it, inside was a large bathroom with a clawfoot bathtub, black and white counters, and a walking shower on the far wall.

Trial of Flame

Trial of Flame

“What the fuck…” It wasn’t just big. It was gorgeous. Dark gothic furniture. Velvet, obsidian, silver accents. Floating candles. Posters of angry girl bands and spell choked concert scenes. The castle had literally remodeled a suite to match her aesthetic. That doesn’t happen. Ever. I stepped inside, still stunned, running my fingers across the silk drapes with sigils woven into the hem. “How did this...?” She shrugged, feigning innocence with the world’s least innocent face.
