All that talk about how much he liked her was just a cover for his ulterior motives. Austin smiled and said, “Yes, there are some. Ms. Tati, please wait a moment. I'll go get the pastries.” He turned and went into the kitchen. A moment later, he came out with a plate of small pastries. These were prepared for the two boys. They had not finished them, so there were some leftovers. Tati saw that the pastries were shaped like small animals and knew they were made for the two little boys. She did not mind, though. As long as Austin made them, no matter the shape, the pastries were always delicious.
