Chapter 15 – Let Bygones Be Bygones The next few days are spent either training the Forest Paw wolves and having them run through the forest or spending time with Axel, Serena, Claira, or Blue. Zoe beamed as she scratched behind the pitbull puppy’s ears. “Uh, perhaps you should let me take over, Miss Justice,” I said, clearing my throat, trying to move her away from the table. “But why?” she questioned with confusion written all over her face. “Just a safety precaution with Titus being a pit and all.” “Dr. Parker, he’s a puppy, and I’m fine. Please be seated,” she gritted through clenched teeth. I sighed but returned to my stool in the corner of the room and watched him flirt with Zoe while she examined the puppy.
