Gokon fell on the ground and now scratching the floor. He is in rage. But his pain is only temporary. He slowly gets up from the ground and walks toward Julius. Julius is still groaning in pain.

He shoved Julius with brutal force, sending him crashing to the floor, sliding across the polished wood. “Dad!” Chloe screamed, finally sounding afraid. “Don’t ever touch me again,” Roman said coldly. Julius scrambled to his feet, shaken. Then his eyes landed on Paula. And he went very still. Uncle Jace watched him, silent, tense, as recognition dawned. “Jace…” Julius whispered. “Am I hallucinating… or is Rubio’s daughter actually sitting on my goddamn sofa?”

Marcel was relentless, I wanted to kill him for taking us away from our moon, and my pup, Arko, was bleeding non-stop. I could see that his breathing was agitated. We both lunged again, and our claws met. Julius made a prominent cut on my ribs. I let out a yelp from the pain, but Marcel reciprocated by biting his foreleg.
