Ralphin asked gently. “They – they ripped it up, with their teeth and their claws.” Marley swallowed. Beside him, the ginger one trembled with silent sobs, his jaw clenching with every shaking breath. “Is anyone hurt?” Atticus barked. Snakes writhed in the pit of his stomach. “Y-yes, Alpha,” Marley said, eyes wide. “My parents are the medics, so I know some stuff. I tried to help them – I tried…”

And then I made it so no one else would have to see them that way, because Martha would have hated to be seen like that. “Every single rogue I see feels like fucking Christmas. One less mongrel in the world means one less asshole killing innocent people. So don’t you fucking cry for that asshole, don’t you fucking dare.” He growls his words and yet the tears continue to stream down my face. Not for the rogue, but for this incredibly broken version of Maverick. “I’m sorry.” I whisper. “For tuning you out and crossing the border.” “Oh shit, Tater tot. Just, please stop fucking crying.” He pleads with his eyes as well as his words.

So I think I will disturb the entry just a little, nothing that is too noticeable unless they are looking and allow one of the other patrols to find them. I head back to the barracks, climb in through my window, put my backpack into my small cupboard and then go and rejoin the search party I was teamed up with, luckily we had separated to do the search a bit quicker so my absence wasn't noticed. Just as I re-join my team, we all stop as we hear a really loud, sad and pain-filled howl echo throughout the woods, it is then followed by three more very loud howls in response and joined to the first one. Maverick is obviously dead, the poor sucker. He was a really good partner in both our patrols

When he got to her, he lowered his head. A sob escaped her lips and her right hand quickly covered her mouth. Tears streamed down her delicate cheeks making Carl whimper. ‘Am sorry.’ He apologized, he didn’t like the look on her face, he didn’t like the tears staining her cheeks and the sadness in her eyes was killing him. ‘Please don’t cry, mate.’ He cooed, making Collin roll his eyes. ‘Am happy to see you, Carl.’ She said through the mind link. ‘Then don’t cry, we don’t have enough time and I want you to listen.’

They had cushioned her with their bodies in front and back and saved her. Bernard and Faris got injured on their limbs and back very badly. They slowly got down from the car and licked their wounded paws. Eunice saw that and her anger flared. She came near Marlon and kicked his legs. “Mom, save me…” Marlon begged her with tear-filled eyes. “In your dreams,” She muttered, and then she went near the broken car. By then, Wyatt had got out of the car successfully and was looking at the damage that was made to the car. He cried silently inside his heart, ‘Oh! My dear baby, how? Just how? My poor... precious baby…’

"One more push and this one will be out too." Kari pushed and there was silence. "Why isn't he crying?" Kari asked. I could feel her panic rising. I rubbed her arms as Doctor Wainwright looked at the pup. After a moment, he started to cry and Wainwright took him over and placed it on her chest. I stroked her hair as she held our third pup. I lay my little finger against his little palm that was flailing, and I felt his little grip tighten around it as I felt my own tears start to leave my eyes. I looked up to see Merida holding one, and Olivia holding the other pup. Both were also crying.

She said and patted my cheek lovingly. "Marshall, why don't you tell her what happened maybe she will know how to explain it because I still can't figure out the reason this happened. It's all like a miracle." She said, making my curiosity grow more. Why are this people doing this? Why couldn't they just tell me what is going on and stop beating around the bush. "Marshal, it is so obvious that you cried. The traces of tears are on your face. In fact, your eyes have swollen a bit and... they are red as well. Can you see you can't hide the lie now?" I told her and she nodded with a cute smile.

Third person's POV Warwick noticed that Marsh wasn't responding at all. He turned to look and saw Marsh's face was pale, his forehead covered in a dense layer of sweat. Alarmed, Warwick asked, "Alpha Marsh, don't scare me. What's wrong with you?" March gritted his teeth and, with difficulty, managed to say, "Stomach pain." "I'll take you to the hospital," Warwick declared, immediately reversing the car and stepping on the gas, speeding towards the hospital.

Millie continues "take his money, take his job, take his happiness, take his soul. It still won't be enough to pay back what he did to you" Tears roll down her cheeks and her vision becomes clear again. She can't think of the last time she looked in a mirror and her face wasn't dripping in tears "There you go, crying again. Like you always are" "I'm not" she wipes her face "I'm not crying anymore" "Good" ~

When Marlie sat on the couch pretending to look all sad and pitiful, Chad didn't spare the time to squat in front of her, trying to console her. He held her stained face in his hand and wiped the fake tears off Marlie's face. His words were soothing as he assured her, "There's no need for these tears, Charlie. It's okay, hush. Those media know nothing and write nonsense. Shhh... shhh... Hush now, okay? Don't cry, please." Chad tried hard to pacify her.
