Liam pov I was patrolling the outer boundaries of Fireside and Paw pack territories when I caught the scent - vanilla and wildflowers, mixed with the metallic tang of blood. My wolf surged forward instantly, recognizing something vital even before his human mind understood. I found my mate and she was hurt.

And somewhere out there, maybe, my story was waiting. I didn’t know yet that it had four paws, orange fur, and a bell around its neck. I didn’t know what else to do, so I decided to walk. Sometimes moving my body tricked my brain into unclogging itself. Besides, if I stayed cooped up in that apartment any longer, I was going to start yelling at my furniture.

"I cannot believe how stupid the mutts in this pack are,” Patricia groaned, pinching the bridge of her nose in disappointment. I had just finished explaining my little story about my wolf’s awakening, and what happened after. Both in terms of the poison incident, and how I was unable to shift into my wolf form after that. Patricia was silent the whole time I was telling her my story, her expression unreadable. Halfway through the explanation, I was starting to think that she didn’t believe a word I said, until she finally spoke.

Upon reaching the bottom floor after leaving, I observed that some pack members had their heads bowed submissively. It seemed odd at first, but then it dawned on me that it was Winter. Well maybe during the patrol run I can figure out what my mom found out from my dad. An hour later, while out on the patrol run I tried different ways to get dad to spill the beans on what mom found out, but he instead changed the topic to asking me about terms I knew and what I am supposed to be looking for on these patrols. After almost 2 hours of trying I gave up that he was going to tell me anything and focused on the terms and the patrol. *********** HAVRITH POV

I was about to be mauled to death. "It's okay..." I say tensely. My body trembling with fright. "Here, you can have him back. You see I was protecting him. There was an eagle and it was going to get him but he's okay. See, you're welcome..." Slowly but surely I put Poppy back onto the floor and it padded towards his mother. Yet, the mother still growled. I backed up... "Where is Paw Patrol when you need em'." The dog barked, hard and loud, and I didn't grasp the level of stupid I am until that very moment when I pointed at the dog and yelled, "Bad dog!"

Paw patrol is now full blast with Uncle Ezekial dancing around with Lincoln on his shoulder singing the theme song. “I never in a million years thought I’d be at my baby brother's house. With pups dancing around the living room, cartoons blaring and a beautiful woman in the kitchen cooking and laughing with my Luna.” He says as he pats my shoulder, and we just take in the view all around us. “I never in a million years thought this would be my life. Not until she came along.” I say pointing to Monica. With how I have my living room set up I can see the kitchen and the living room perfectly.

Malcolm My bones cracked and popped at a rate that my mind couldn't keep up with. Then I leaped out onto the porch and ripped into the first witch that caught my eye. But they keep coming and chanting, and the chanting got louder. So I had to kill them faster to stop the ringing in my ears. The more blood I tasted on my tongue, the deeper it drove me into insanity. When there was a clearing, Roman and Catalina dashed to the car, and I lost sight of them. Ms. Cleo was surrounded by witches. I fought my way to her, slashing through the witches with my heavy paws, feeling the power of rage inside me.

I was his mate after all ! What the hell was happening ?! Even rejected wolves could feel each other in each other’s presence ! Then why not us ? "Papa will come back tomorrow, baby. Ok ? The scene was heartbreaking to watch, especially when Lex narrated the story of "Super Mom, Joy" who saves "Papa Lex" and "Uncle Rowland" from the big, bad wolves.
