As I hop out of my Range Rover, I see that a council elder is standing at the door waiting to greet me. It’s not a very far drive from Slick Paw to the council headquarters. The wolf jumped off the hood of the car, circling around it, never taking its eyes off me. With trembling hands, I took out my phone and dialed my dad's number, but, great, there was no signal. I slammed the gas pedal and sped away, getting as far away as I could from that wolf.
