I hear the people who had gathered around to watch our battle scream as my tornados hit the ground and begin moving toward my father. “What are you going to do, Iniko? Are you going to kill me?” he asks. “I don’t want you dead! I want you to hurt like I hurt!” I yell. I’ve just sent my tornados flying at my father when I hear a scream behind me and then Cal’s roar. “Iniko, STOP!” “Not until this is done!” I roar. I hear another scream of pain and this time I hear the snapping of bones with it. I turn and look behind me at where Cal’s brood of dragons live and see three of his dragon children writhing on the ground. Shit! The rest of his first group of children are shifting.

The four boys burst into angry whispers. Though honestly, I’m not sure why they’re even being quiet. It’s not like Lucy and I can’t hear everything anyway in this tiny house.
