Percy Jackson And The Lightning Thief Chapter 1 Novels & Stories

I choke. “He’s being hunted,” she says. “By what?” She meets my eyes, and for once, she looks afraid. “By the first storm. The one that taught gods to fear lightning.” “I have to go-” “You can’t,” she says. “Not yet. He must find the roar on his own.” Tears slip down my cheeks as I scream into the burning earth. *** The ground shakes and the atmosphere changes. And then it appears. A creature steps through a rift in the sky. It is huge, winged and scaled. Its eyes are molten gold, its breath thunder.

I knew it would take some time to fully have all her affection, but I swore I was going to wait, wait for when she'll finally surrender to me, to our bond. ~~ Later on during the day, I found Annabeth in the east parlor. She was curled in the window seat with one of my books, 'Lycan Wars: The First Betrayals.' Her curly hair fell like ink across the page. There was a smudge of it on her cheek. She didn’t hear me come in. Didn’t scent me. Humans didn't have those sharp sensory abilities. I could’ve stood there all day. Watching her and she wouldn't know.

"You must be heavily retouched. Men like this don't exist in real life, but damn, whoever designed you sure was talented..." I flip back to the first chapter, only to let out a dreamy sigh when I see the chapter is named "Meet cute." It immediately makes me feel a twinge of jealousy toward the main character. "I wish I could take your place, girl. If my instincts are correct, you're about to meet the man of your dreams and find your happily ever after with Mr. Frontpage Daddy." As I say those words, something odd happens. The page of the book lights up in gold, like that scene in the second Harry Potter movie. Only this time, there are whispers, and the ink disappears from every page of the

But that will never happen. "Mommy... Daddy..." I tried struggling out of my chair, but the glasses on my skin would hit a nerve sending my brain I'm in pain. "Mommy, I'm hurt... Daddy, help me..." No matter how much I called for them, they'd never respond. The world must have kept flickering its figurative light switch because my vision flashed from bitter darkness to blinding white light. "Mommy... Daddy... Thea... Ares... Mom-" ________________________________ "Effie, get up. You're going to be late."

was that he was never going to find the answers. He didn't deserve the answers. He didn't deserve Ezekiels attentions. He deserved this pain alone. In a relation which demands me to hate her,to punish her, to replace her but still to never loose her. ______________________________________ Precap ".....It never began with me nor did it ever end on me because you my mate were it's beginning and you are the only end........you were the incarnation of the thunder wolf while I was just the lightning accompanying the thunder.." -Xavier Black

I let out a low moan and forced my eyelids open so that I could see Achilles' and Perseus' faces. There's some pressure on my chest, could someone be doing first aid on me? "That's it, good girl," Perseus whispered as he ran his hand over my face. There's an aura around him, as if the light is trapped and makes him brighter. I want to say how beautiful it is, I want to raise my hand and caress his skin, but it's all so hard and I close my eyes again. I want to rest. ************* Note: Don't forget to like, comment and share the book! This really helps it grow on the platform

I tried to throw it off, but some unseen force balanced it. “What is happening?” I shouted as a bright light shone from the pages of the book. Jada rushed towards me and hit the book off my hand. It fell on the table, and the first page opened. It wasn't blank like before. I could see the words written on it and it read: “Only to be read by the seer.” “I can see the writings.” I stuttered as I flipped through the pages. “I still see blank pages. You mean you can see the words?”

Without reading other chapters, Omega Yna opened Chapter 18 of the book The tittle of the chapter was boldly spelled out: THE CHOSEN ONE. Omega Yna exhaled and inhaled as she tried to calm her rapidly racing heart. She was scared to read the content of the chapter, she was scared to know the information that will either build her or destroy her. One could say that Omega Yna had the fear of the unknown, but to her this was bound to happen.

Maybe, just maybe, her destiny was only beginning. Outside, unseen and silent, shadows moved in the distance. Eyes glimmered, scanning the horizon. The villains from the past were not far behind, and the chase had only just begun. Shadow seen outside the window—villains are tracking her. —END OF CHAPTER 1—
