The horn was still warm from his body, glowing faintly like veins of red fire still fighting for life, humming with the dark pulse of his power. Not a weapon. A relic. A piece of him willingly surrendered.

So when it retreated, it suddenly stopped because its horn did not fit in the space. He tried to move forward but now his shoulders couldn't fit. My grin widened as the minotaur looked at me and screamed in rage. The minotaur is now stuck between the huge trees, with its oversize body and horn. So I deliberately slowed down my pace so that his attention was on me and not in front of where the two trees were waiting that would cause him to be imprisoned.

The minotaur-like monster nodded and picked up the giant horn made out of the shell of some large sea creature. The monster blew into it and the entire land seemed to shake under its note. The sound blew through the sky and upwards into the deeper parts of heaven. The monsters roared and cheered. I could see Saltos from here, his shoulders higher than the heads of all those that were around him. He was already several feet taller than we had first emerged from his prison.

Taking the opposite direction from which we came, I stumbled upon a hallway full of doors with laughter on the other side of one of them. Being one for laughter, I cracked the door open to see a ton of creatures just like Silas and that crazy spider guy. This time there are centaurs, a minotaur, and a satyr. I thought they were all made-up stories, but here they were. My wide eyes caught the sight of the big Minotaur who was drinking out of a large bucket because his hands were too large to hold on to the a glass.

The minotaur had jumped on the manticore and was wrestling both it tail and it's head at the same time. Lyle could not believe his eyes and was frozen where he stood. Soon the minotaur had the manticore in a head lock with one arm, and still had it's tail. The minotaur's grip on the tail seemed to be keeping the manticore from being able to fire it's spikes. The manticore yowled and tried to roll over to get the minotaur off, but the chains did not allow it to do any more than roll to it's side.
