Well, with the exception of the greatly talented Perseus. For amongst the three, the only one strong enough to defeat Hermes in a battle was Perseus. In fact, Perseus was strong enough to resist even Heracles! And that was why Ares could live so comfortably. For he had tasked Perseus with keeping Heracles at bay.

I am Persephone. You really should have done your research properly. I allowed you to get that information on purpose.”

I can almost see myself walking to Arles’ palace with the Golden Hind. “But how am I going to call Artemis? And why would she lend me her sacred Hind?” I ask. Artemis is the goddess of hunting and wilderness and on what grounds would she lend her Hind to a mortal like me?

Closing my eyes and pull on my power and open my eyes raising my hands. “LYKOS, MOVE!” I shout as I push the lightning through my hands and out of my fingertips towards the doors. The doors explode inward. Screams echo around as I walk through the doors. Scientists all cower and try to escape. I look around and see Perla floating with her head down in a tank, wires attached to her. I look around for Artemis and see her in human form, dangling from chains above her tank, cuts, and blood running down her legs. What the fuck?

She announces with such great authority laced into her voice, that no creature could dare disobey such a command. Usually the nurses would refuse, perhaps even laugh at the ridiculous suggestion, with the baby only being a minute old, but the mother is no normal being. She is Artemis, Goddess of the Moon. Manipulating a human's mind is as easy as slicing a sharp knife through hot butter for her. In moments, the nurses and the baby's father have vacated the room, allowing her to be at peace with the bundle of joy cocooned in her arms. With dread, Artemis tries not to ponder on the fact that she soon has to leave. Three years.
