The Day She Stopped Waiting

The Day She Stopped Waiting

The Stranger For one terrifying second— nobody moved. God. Not Adrian. Fair. Not Elena. Reasonable. Not Lily. God. Because Peanut was standing beside a stranger. Fair. A complete stranger. Reasonable honestly. And she looked happy. God. Perfectly happy. Fair. Which somehow made everything worse. Reasonable. Then Adrian crossed the distance. God. Immediately. Fair. Not running. Reasonable. Not walking. God. Something in between. Fair. The speed of a father who had spent the last fifteen minutes imagining every nightmare possible.

10 chapters in and I hope it’s second chance book. I love a good “leaving my shitty husband for a better man” plot but sometimes I love a good “I need to get my wife back” plot as well. Sometimes I want to read about how a relationship was pulled back from the brink and I feel this is goi to be it.

My New Neighbour

"Why are you here?" Max's chest rumbled as he talked and I felt another flutter in my heart. I sniffed him lightly and he smelled like aftershave. It was so good and nice. How can he be so handsome, hot and sexy? It becomes even more difficult to avoid him. I smiled in his chest. I still couldn't digest the fact that I might be falling for him. "Oh, it's a free country and I don't think that I should be taking your permission to come here." the stranger replied, his voice bringing a chill down my spine again.

Will there be a second book? I noticed the author doesn’t comment on anything so I’m gonna guess and say no that the readers don’t seem to matter with zero interaction from the author.. good book though.

I so enjoyed reading this and am so excited to start the second one. This novel was very well written and kept me interested. I like happy endings and the threat of revenge still is something to be aware of. The writer of this story is very talented

And I meet the eyes I was just about to compliment. All over again, I am struck with the handsome features that belong to the stranger, Casper. He is dressed differently...Casual. A simple black shirt and dark trousers that he has his hands shoved into the pockets. He stares at me through silky black hair that brushes over his brow, an amused smile dancing across his face. Did he hear that? A feeling of utter dread washes over me, as I come to terms with the embarrassment that is showing itself through the colour of my cheeks.

"Why would I go with you? It's your fault." "It's your fault. You don't want to leave my mind. Aren't you tired yet? You've been running around in my head for months, Lily." "And you still really know me, right? Well sir, I still want to talk to you. But I am a very obedient child to my parents. They said, don't talk to strangers. My Perfect Abrupt Marriage

My Perfect Abrupt Marriage

Is it some sort of drama-romance where I should be touched and have my heart fluttering over that? Well, maybe it was the unexpected gesture that was thrown at me. Daniel is such an outstanding man, and the morning I knew I had a one-night stand with him, I was supposed to escape. I never wanted to get into the depth of one-night stand. After all, it was just a mere night’s passion. I hugged my knees while I sat on the center of the bed. The moon didn’t show up tonight. Perhaps since it was only 6. Already almost falling asleep in the tranquility, I heard two knocks on the door to which I blinked my eyes into and sighed. Was I too tired the whole day that I almost taken a sleep in such a wei

Sleeping With A Stranger

Sleeping With A Stranger

" He ordered politely with an aura of authority. She stood, trembling on both legs as she stared at his deep brown eyes assessing her with a firm face. "Striscia! (*Strip!!)" She kicked off her sneakers and started working on the buttons on her tartan checked patterned shirt. She gives him her back as she unsnaps her bra. "Now I want to see. Turn back around. Show me!" She turned around nervously with her eyes closed as she began to remove her bra slowly, feeling her tits spring out. She removed her belt and moved down her denim jeans, freeing her pretty legs completely from it as it dropped on the floor.

The Stranger's Baby

The Stranger's Baby

She defended herself. “Bad in a good way.” She added. The stranger smiled. Melissa couldn’t help but notice how beautiful his smiles were, making her wonder how it was possible for someone to be very perfect. Mel suddenly felt cold when he released his hand from her boob. He held her hand and made her come down from his lap. He gestured to the empty space beside her and with a confused look, She took a seat beside him. The drop-dead gorgeous stranger had a wool coat over his shirt so he rose to his feet, took off the coat, and sat back. He turned his attention to Melissa and covered her with the piece of clothing; her shoulder to her knee area.

Very nice & sweet book. The FL is a bit difficult but both she and the ML have been hurt before so their road is a bit bumpy. Sometimes a bit confusing when it's not clear who's speaking. I expected a lot more scheming but it was enough. Both are spicy, have lovely kids and Damien is the best!

Tizzy quipped, prompting a cascade of laughter. "I thought you were already spoken for, but I see you are just as unhinged as ever!" Dynasty teased. "I am, and the craziness is escalating!" she retorted, her laughter mingling with the others. "Girls! Last night was wild. I woke up from a dream so intense that it felt almost real—a passionate rendezvous with a striking stranger, whose powerful aura sent tremors through my body. The man, sprawled beneath me, wore a knowing smile that jolted me awake, drenched in sweat. I’ve never encountered him before, yet he felt inexplicably like my soul mate. It was utterly insane!" Angela says seriously.

I like to give these books fair reviews. This is my first time reading a book on Good Novel that offered a different storyline. I like that it's about marriage but not the way all the books I read portray it. Well done! And recommend ... the others read it!

I’m a reader who doesn’t need to be constantly stimulated. I look for books that tell a good and intriguing story. I feel that will be the readers that will thoroughly enjoy this well written piece of work. Great job author.

Lena hesitated for only a moment before unlocking the door and turning the handle. A man stood on the porch. Tall, dark clothing - a Stranger. A chill ran down her spine. "Mrs. Calloway?" His voice was low, smooth, calculated. Lena forced herself to nod. "Yes?" The man smiled, but it didn't quite reach his eyes. "Sorry about the hour. But I think you've been trying to reach someone." She became uneasy. Behind her, she heard the faint creak of the floorboards. It was Ethan. He was waiting there.

SLEEPING NEXT TO A STRANGER

SLEEPING NEXT TO A STRANGER

NINA. I stood before the mirror and felt awed. The reflection indicated a stranger standing at a strange facsimile of me. I reached out and touched my face and my cheekbones; this was certainly a different me. I think I looked like... Lauren Hilton. "Hello, dear, are you okay?" the elderly woman's voice echoed in a soft, quiet voice. I was slow in replying to the elderly woman since I was lost in thought. "Y-y-yes, ma'am," I could hardly order my head as I turned on the tap and washed my hands, trying to clear the fog out of my brain.
