As we are about to file out, she stops us with the clearing of her throat. “Whitney.” The rest of us pause to hear what she has to say but Whitney steps forward. “How’s it going with the set designs? Have you informed your friends?” She spares all of us a glance, picks a script from the pile to wave it at us. “We need the numbers,” she says in a pleading voice, “these scripts won’t read or act themselves.”

He handed me a small plate with a few macaroons, some chocolate covered strawberries, and a couple of cake pops, along with a bottle of water. I was nervous about eating so much junk food when I already feel like I need to lose weight, but I was so hungry, and I didn’t have time to think much about it as the lighting changed and the opening music for Phantom of the Opera grew louder and filled the theatre. ----- The show ended and I was left in a stunned silence. I have always loved the theatre, but Phantom was my favorite show, and this one was probably one of the best performances I’ve ever seen.

Aaron had read the cue cards perfectly. I realized that somebody had changed them. I rushed to the stage before my time in an attempt to salvage the play. “ My angel speaks. Please speak again, my beautiful angel.” I tried to position myself in such a way that Aaron wouldn’t be able to see the cue cards. I expected him to use his logic to reply but that was such a waste.

He wore clothes that were similar to Fredrick's. What the hell is this, Fredrick...? The play had begun with the introduction of characters. The female lead was Elisa and the male lead Cassian. The first scene of the play showed Elisa crying. When the male lead wished to be of help to her... The scene changed. The second scene showed Elisa begging her mother to help her while she was alone dealing with a fever. The male lead reaches into help and the scene changes once again. The third scene showed Elisa and Cassian alone in a white space. Elisa was on the floor with blood dripping off of her.

“You’ve made a grave mistake, Lysander.” Lysander stepped forward, his gun aimed at Phantom. “It’s over, Phantom. We’re dismantling The Order.” Phantom chuckled, a sound that sent chills down Kylie’s spine. “You think you can stop us? You’re merely a pawn in a game much larger than you can comprehend.” Kylie’s eyes narrowed, determination fueling her every move. “We’ll see about that.” In a swift motion, Phantom raised a hand, signaling the remaining guards to attack. The room exploded into violence as Lysander and his team fought back, their movements coordinated and deadly.

With the dead rousing up and now alive, her next move is knocking just beyond the door. “Now,” HE added together with HIS hand gesture of somehow reaching out to her, yet not. A small pendant-like, but in a shape of a shard crystal manifest and afloat unto HIS palm. “Your very wish is granted.” With a snap that flows the time according to her wish. The next act of the play will about to begin. “Play the role, be what you became in this act. Feed the necessary sin until he is ripe and ready to be picked.” Snapping HIS finger as her appearance is now glowing with the vengeance that she is now on her way to do and to accomplish.

"But do you really think you can uncover the truth and defeat me? You underestimate the power I hold." Victor squared his shoulders, his gaze unwavering. "We have faced demons and triumphed over adversity before," he declared, his voice resolute. "The Phantom, your reign ends now. Your games and manipulations will be exposed for all to see." A derisive laugh erupted from The Phantom's lips, echoing through the cavernous space. "You think you can defeat me? You know nothing of what I'm capable of, the secrets I hold. I am invincible."

“Like what?” I close the distance between us, molding my front to her back as I pin her against the railing. She gasps but immediately lets her body melt against mine. “Like you,” I say, my lips hovering over the shell of her ear. “You’re the only thing that really matters to me, Win.” The lights begin to dim even more, cloaking the audience below us in a sea of black. The only light comes from the stage lights shining on the bright red curtain. It’s as if the entire opera house goes still with silence as we wait for the opera to begin.

"Do you know Sara of the Phantom? She's my mother." Ramiel chuckled, his tone was scornful. "Impossible! Why would our late Alpha hit on someone who's been our sworn enemy for centuries? Even if that's true, I'm sure she's the one who seduced him and accused him of something he would never do. That's what the Phantom is anyway!"
