My reflection stared back at me, my face covered with a Phoenix shaped mask that only allowed my eyes and mouth to be seen, it was my Trademark. The world now knew me as The Phoenix, the name wasn't just branding. It was my story. I had risen from destruction, rebuilt by hands that should never have held me together, and now the very fire that consumed me was now my fuel and weapon.

Powering on the laptop took a lot longer than I expected, and then I got to researching. “Do it, Ember.” She moved forwards and he danced backward as her wings brushed against his cheek, sizzling the sweat from his skin. His heart leaped with her, and he watched as she gained height, prepared to take to the air himself and catch her should her strange wings fail her and should she plummet to the ground. But they did not, and she flew high, higher, until the flame of wings and hair was all that he could see against the backdrop of the bright blue sky. “A phoenix,” Aislen Carter exclaimed joining him and staring upwards. “She is like a phoenix risen from the ashes.”

She walks back to me and sits on the ground beside me. I said, "What is your wolf's name?" She said, "Saige." I said, "A beautiful name for a beautiful wolf, who belongs to a beautiful woman." She laughs and says, "That was a mouthful, but thank you. I love your dragon too. What is his name?" I said, "Rex. He's been waiting a long time for you. We both have." She lowered her eyes and said, "I was convinced that I didn't even have a mate. I knew there would be no wolf strong enough to be my mate. My visions can get... intense. He did take a little more time than necessary for the phase, but when she started to fall to the ground, he turned back in the blink of an eye and was there in his human form to catch her before she hit the ground.

I stood where I was even when my instincts were hitting the flight part of it hard. Then I saw it… Streaks of red raced through the sky before coming down hard against the boundary in multiple points. Not ordinary fire. No…this was Phoenix fire. A sea of sparks exploded, sending them through the air. Everything shook. The ground. The trees. Our boundary held until one more round of Phoenix fire hit it. Victory was shouted out by the demons as if they’d already won the battle.

His aura was so powerful and full of hope. Mukgu and Chichi were so amazed by what they were seeing. “Wow, what a beautiful phoenix!” Mukgu said while watching Mingchan’s red phoenix. He just summoned it and it was flying above him. Christopher was watching the beautiful red phoenix too. He gaped and then grinned at Mingchan. “Oh, now we can have a fair fight now!” Christopher smirked at Mingchan as he was feeling so excited to fight with him. The dragon started attacking Mingchan’s phoenix. The phoenix was able to dodge Christopher’s dragon’s attacks. The dragon and phoenix were having a fair fight with one another. Mingchan and Christopher were also fighting one another below them.

Altair, eyes narrowed in thought, asked the dragon, "How did the Phoenix's essence end up separated from you in the first place?" The dragon let out a deep, melancholic sigh, causing the trees around us to shiver. "Centuries ago, a rift occurred, born from the conflicting desires of the inhabitants of Meranthia. In the ensuing chaos, the Phoenix sacrificed a part of its essence to seal the rift, leading to our separation." Elder Aria stepped forward, her voice carrying an ancient wisdom. "The world moves in cycles. Maybe this is Meranthia's way of healing, of mending old wounds. The Phoenix Feather's appearance might be a sign that it's time to restore what was once lost."
