Rise of the Phoenix

Rise of the Phoenix

She asked without looking at him. Luke was silent for so long that Sarah thought he was not going to answer at all. The silence and their staring contest were becoming too much for her, and she couldn’t take it anymore. She was about to give up when he mumbled. “A phoenix.” “A what?” her head snapped in his direction. “I am a phoenix,” Luke repeated, a little louder this time. “That’s not possible! They don’t exist!” Luke raised his brows in wonder. “I very much exist.” He had so many questions for her and for the first time in his long life didn’t know where to start. She obviously knew about the myths and legends of his world

TAMING THE BEAST IN HIM ( 🌺 HIS RED PHOENIX 🌺 )

TAMING THE BEAST IN HIM ( 🌺 HIS RED PHOENIX 🌺 )

The light became so bright that Phoenix had to cover her eyes so she wouldn't go blind. " Phoenix " A pleasant voice echoed the whole room. " Who...are... you? " Phoenix managed to ask, her whole body shaking in fear. Her eyes spotted something which made them widen greatly. Right in the middle of the room was a bird...a big bird almost the same size as an ostrich, rising from its ashes, with fire and flame revolving around it. The bird was no ordinary bird. It looked like a peacock with red and golden feathers, and a tail that was rich red. Its body was scarlet and gold plumage, making it look ex

Alexandria

Alexandria

I gave my pack a weak smile reassuring them I was fine now and stayed focused on our Alpha. "I know you are all wondering why were are here tonight as we, the Blue Moon pack, don't do many of these pack meetings. We are a peaceful small pack after all." The crowd cheered at our Alphas words. "But being so small we need alliances so we have agreed with the Midnight Warrior pack to help them with anything for their alliance as they are the largest Warrior pack in the world." I knew it!

Penn said seriously. “I want that too. And we're closer than ever, babe. I can't wait for our lives to actually start...our normal lives I mean.” "So let's get up and get one step closer to that hm?” “Let's do it.” *** “So what are Phoenixs like?” I asked Nova. “They're such kind creatures.” She smiled. “Gentle and intelligent. I'm sure they'll help get you what you need.” “Well that's good. The sooner this is over, the better.”

I love this book so much. I’m glad I was a beta reader because it’s even better than when I first read it. I love the dynamic between Zelda and her family/people - as well as her dynamic with Penn and Hunter. I can’t wait to keep reading!!

I thought Zelda would only be the funny one. I didn't expect it would be the same with Hunter. The way he was rejected and said that he would tell it to his parents was just hilarious lol. The humor of this book is not something to be missed. This book is a must-read for great entertainment. Awesome

The Phoenix's Second Choice

The Phoenix's Second Choice

But just then, the world tilted. Something was wrong, terribly wrong. The protective barrier around the Phoenix Court, the one my mother had sealed with a fragment of her very soul had shattered. "That's impossible," I whispered. No demon beast, no matter how powerful, should have been able to breach it. Not unless…there was a traitor. Franz and I rushed out. The clan was in chaos. High-level demon beasts had invaded. A fledgling Phoenix, barely ten, was pinned beneath the foot of a boar-beast. She was moments from death.

THE SHADOW OF A LUNA

THE SHADOW OF A LUNA

Angelo snapped. "We don't disagree. But how the hell do we find him?" I asked. "I don't know. I'm gonna get some people out working on it." He says standing up. "You mean witches." I say. "Yeah. I think the food is burning." He says and I race back to the kitchen. But I got the food off just in time before it burnt. We all sat around eating while spit balling ideas. And we were still coming up empty. "He's taken over a town called Pheonix. It's in the Bayou." Angelo announced walking back into the room.

Phoenix repeated. She stepped out from behind Kael. She didn’t look terrified. She looked annoyed. She walked down the remaining stairs, her heels clicking rhythmically, ignoring the rain blowing in through the shattered doors. She stopped beside Kael—not behind him. Beside him. She looked Thorne up and down, her hazel-gold eyes dissecting him like a balance sheet. "You broke my door," Phoenix said flatly. "That's mahogany. Imported. Vintage 1890." Thorne blinked, thrown off balance by the banality of the comment. "Woman, you stand before the High Council—"

Who's The Loser Heir?

—a testament to their cunning, their resilience, and their unwavering loyalty. The Sparrow Lounge, a discreet but opulent establishment nestled in the heart of Townsville’s entertainment district, was the epicenter of this quiet revelry. It was a place where the city’s most influential figures gathered, a neutral ground where the lines between legitimate business and the Phoenix Mafia’s shadowy operations often blurred. Tonight, however, the mood was purely celebratory.
