Alice Moss was getting agitated. She had tried to post something about Mariana on the internet - anonymously or using paid trolls. But none worked. She also tried to get around the problem by posting something about the Jacobsens or Smiths. But nothing worked. It was as if someone was carefully monitoring her activities and stopping her. Her frustration turned to shock and disbelief when she got a notification about James’s new post. James had sued her for assault. Alice laughed out loud. It was probably a joke.

I tried to defend myself, but James looks even more angry. "You are so despicable. I cannot believe you could say things like this. You were the one that started the image cropping, you touch yourself holding her pictures in your hands. I thought this was all a teenage thing until I watch her leave the school, I am sorry, I cannot be quiet anymore, now I am going to do the right thing". At that instant, I knew I had to step down from my high horse and just plead with James. "James, since you know so much, then I am sure you know I love her, and I want to make her happy, please don't ruin it now".

“Zelda, are you really okay with this?” I forced a faint smile. “I’ve come to expect it. It’s not worth being upset over anymore.” She didn’t seem convinced, but she dropped the subject, returning to her phone. “Well, at least he didn’t clear your trending search with Xavier. That would’ve been the real insult.” Her casual words hit me harder than they should’ve. James must have seen the photos of Xavier and me by now. The fact that he didn’t react meant one thing—he was truly done with me.

“Why are you yelling? My head hurts.” “You told me you’d handle it,” I snap. “You promised. The press would stay away from my family. And now there’s cameras shoved in my mother’s face when she went to water the goddamn hydrangeas.” He screws up his face. His hair’s a mess. There’s a smear of something cheesy-looking on his cheek. “I don’t… wait, what?” “You’re trending, James. Or should I say we’re trending. Again.” “I didn’t… I swear, I didn’t talk to anyone. I wouldn’t.”

We say goodbye and I walk back to the salon, a little happier than I was this morning. "Oh God Anna, thank God you're here. Chip came in looking for you and I made an absolute fool out of myself. It's just, well, he's so sexy and gorgeous and I just adore his muscle art." James, one of my stylist says when I walk inside. I hired James a few months ago. He is an exceptionally good-looking man. He has long brown hair and eyelashes to die for. He has piercings all over his body and I personally think we are busier because of him. Woman line up for the man candy that is James to do their hair.

he asked as he went online to check the weather over the next few days. “It’s nothing. I’ll just take a few pictures,” Laura said and pulled out her phone. James had given her his account password, but she hadn’t posted anything on it yet. He didn’t have a lot of followers as his whole page was empty, and only the celebrities at the company and other employees followed him. So when the photo was uploaded, all his followers got a notification. Laura watched as people started liking his picture and she smiled in satisfaction. James, who was busy ordering things online, didn’t know what was happening.

I look at him suspiciously. "Marco, did you take pictures?" I ask, feeling myself growing impatient. "Yes, Alpha, but there's nothing there." He shrugs as he flips through his pictures of the chalet. "Are you guys fucking with me? There's clearly a cottage in the pictures." I growl at their not so funny joke. "Alpha, what are you talking about?" James looks irritated that I would question him and looks back at his phone before holding up the picture again. "No disrespect, Alpha, but why would we do that? Empty clearing. Are you feeling alright?"

Heat flooded Adrian’s face with a mix of shame and twisted arousal surging through him. “I... I didn't mean for you to see,” Adrian stammered, his voice hoarse, but his eyes darted back to the screen involuntarily, betraying his hunger. James’s shorts tented slightly as he walked closer, snatching the phone from Adrian's grasp. He zoomed in on the photo, a smirk curling on his lips despite the tension. “You took this? Of me?” James’s tone shifted, filled with curiosity. Then he tossed the phone aside and dropped to his knees in front of Adrian, close enough that their breaths mingled. “And now you're jerking off to it like some perv?”

Adams ordered. James powered up his camera and wandered toward what looked like some kind of water lily—or maybe it’s just weeds. Whatever. Not really knowing what to do, he attempted his first shot and studied the screen to see how he had done. Looks clear enough, anyway. He looked back at the water and saw a small frog emerge. He quickly aimed the lens and allowed it to focus automatically before clicking the shutter button. “Good eye, James,” said Adams. “Thanks, Mr. Adams.”

He even went to the extent of paying a private investigator, everything was yet the same. It was as if she had disappeared from the surface of the earth. That damned woman! Trevor grunted and tugged his hair in frustration. She added to his miseries and he wondered when it would stop. Glaring at the large mural which was supposed to calm him - as the artist who painted it had said- whenever he was bloodthirsty, it did little to no good. Rather, it seemed blander as he stared at it and felt no strange warmth that was supposed to come out of it after staring intently.
