I’m not sure I understand all of it actually. “When I woke up, I actually thought I was in heaven, I was in the most beautiful forest I’d have ever seen. I assumed I was going to meet Saint Peter and be taken to the gates of heaven. But a day went by with nothing I was alone. I just stayed where I was, I didn’t wander to far from the tree that I woke up next to.” She paused again. The crowd didn’t interfere they let her keep talking. But that’s when I took over.

Why would Cole be in heaven too? “No, she’ll be fine” the deliciously intoxicating voice of Gunner rumbled. “I really think we should go to the hospital” this voice was shaking and ever so quiet. “No” Gunner responded, so stern and demanding. It's okay. I can die now. If being dead means seeing Gunner in heaven, then I will gladly go. Everything began to spin, my eyes went fuzzy, and my head felt dull.

She sat down with her eyes downcast and lips pursed. As soon as her butt touched the seat, she felt him leaning closer, "but you know what.." he lifted her chin and made her look into his piercing eyes. "I don’t care where I’m going, as long as you’re with me, even in hell," he promised. She was his plus one for eternity. "I am going to heaven," she argued, her lips curling downward into a frown. He smirked. "I don't think you should pick heaven. Those angels will make your life hell," he said, his eyes sparkling with a playful adoration.

"It's Ava." ​She swiped the screen and brought the phone to her ear. "Ava, it is almost midnight. Unless the sky is falling, you are pushing your luck." ​"Hey big sis, you forgot you have a sister!" Ava’s voice burst through the line, dripping with playful, dramatic guilt. "I mean, seriously, do I need to schedule an appointment with Cole PR just to get a phone call back from my own flesh and blood? I was starting to think Ryan kidnapped you permanently."

"I'm not in heaven. What's happening? I thought I died, but I'm alive. Why didn't God take me to heaven? I'm always a good girl. Why am I sad now?" "You're not dying, and even if you were, I'd be with you. If I'm not allowed in heaven, I'll take you to hell with me. You can't die without me," Alice declared, his possessiveness evident. If there were criteria for love, Heather happened to fulfill all of his requirements. “Don’t keep saying nice things,” Heather said with a frown, though she almost burst with joy upon hearing what Matthias said. Women liked to hear honeyed words, after all. “I can’t stop saying pickup lines when I look at you.” Matthias had recently become good at saying such cheesy phrases. He said a pickup line after another, making it hard for Heather to defend herself against his advances.
