I instinctively crossed my arms to shield my face as the glass cut into my body, leaving streaks of blood everywhere.

Azalea smiled as my eyes burned red like the flames of hell. Smoke barreled from my body, and the scent of ash and soot quickly seeped out into the crowd. “Midnight Moon Pack, meet our first hellhound, Shade!” Grayson announced, and I pulled my eyes away from Azalea and stepped toward the front of the stage. The crowd gasped. My eyes sweep across the crowd, allowing everyone to see Shade's eyes and feel the power in them. Allowing the power of his aura to pulse out into the crowd, sweeping across them in waves.

A great wall of darkness was being formed by the shadows reassembling. Liora's face turned white. "They're getting ready for a last assault." I lifted the artefact and said, "Then we end this now." Its light became brighter, and I could feel the Void's laughing echoing inside my head. "Don't, Melissa!" It was too late, but Damon yelled. I unleashed the power of the item, which burst to life, sending a dazzling beam of light and shadow in the direction of the approaching wall. I hit the ground hard after being knocked off my feet by the impact.

Kayson narrowed his eyes and sent a silver needle to pierce the inky item. Alarmed, Yuri looked at the black pill on the floor and asked angrily, “What is this?!”

I willed them to fight for me, and they became extensions of my arms and my soul. I slashed through the darkness with the Aurora sword. Beams of light broke through it. I aimed for Mila. I slashed through her but her image dissipated in the clouds. I spun through the clouds with the two swords. The Aurora Sword broke the clouds apart. The Night Sword sucked the darkness in. Mila appeared by the stairs. Darkness snaked out of her and around the throats of each of the brothers. "Come with me or they all die." I froze in the middle of the bar. "Stop it."
