Osiris POV The cold stare of the witch's blue eyes stops me in my tracks, and I realize what a mistake I have made. Willow is on her knees at the witch's feet. Tears are streaming down her face. I have seen Willow shed a tear here and there, but I have never seen her actually cry.

Her lips curl into a satisfied smile. “I thought the rumors were exaggerated.” “What rumors.” “That you’re absurdly attractive.” Aretha makes a choking noise beside him. Alexander groans. “Oh no.” “Oh yes,” the girl replies brightly. She steps closer. “My name is Willow.” Of course it is. Fairy names are always dramatic. She tilts her head, examining Alexander like a rare animal. “Second year transfer.” “Great,” Alexander mutters. “I came from the Fay kingdom.” Now that gets Aretha’s attention.

Mrs Willow understood that her husband didn't want to tell her anything because the safer it was if she knew less . When they arrived at the willow mansion , mr Willow went to mr Ranch's office and told him about everything that had happened and asked for permission to acknowledge the child as his grandson . Mr Ranch agreed even though the child shined in red light . The next day the investor came to the Willow mansion and met with mr Ranch . He asked for the presence of the child and explained to the Willow couple that the assassins yesterday were only a test that he had made for them .

Amid applause and cheers, the spotlight swept over the central table, landing on a pair seated together. Agnes called out, "Wow! Looks like we've caught a couple! Care to introduce yourselves?" Willow stood up and took the mic offered to her. "Hello, everyone. I'm Willow Spencer, a bioinformatics major." Agnes grinned, turning her attention to the guy beside her. "What about the handsome gentleman next to you? Won't you introduce yourself?" Hansel remained still, and his expression was blank. Willow smiled politely. "I'll introduce him instead. This is my boyfriend, Hansel Johnson. He's not a student here; he came specifically to keep me company."

---------- -Willow’s POV- Later that night, as I lay in bed, I thought about the decision I had made. For a long time, I had been running. I had been hiding from my past, hiding from my family, and trying to protect Ace in the shadows. But standing next to Silas made me feel like I could stand in the light. I wasn't just a C-list actress or the discarded daughter of the Sinclairs anymore. I was Willow Mercer. I picked up my phone one last time and scrolled through the comments on the articles. People were shocked, some were curious, and many were supportive. For once, the gossip didn't hurt. I felt a sense of power.

Jean-Pierre asked as he started to sort the items from the basket. “My name is Willow. I need some food items.” She told Jean-Pierre, and he helped her to pick out the items she needed. Willow carried the items in her basket. Out onto the walkway, she went to head home. The day was growing late, and Willow didn’t want to be out after dark. As she moved down the walk, she smiled. Jean-Pierre, she was sure, had to be Falling Feather reborn.

'INSERT COIN' Willow glared at me, signaling for tokens as I rolled my eyes; it's like I'm her walking credit card. I exchanged a $20 bill for 30 tokens and handed them to Willow, who safely stowed them in her purse before passing it back to me. She pushed the tokens into the slot, and the game started. I watched her attempt to dance or play the game, failing miserably. Now I know what she's terrible at—games and, in an unrelated note, dancing.

My alarm was going off so I rolled over and turned it off. I heard my mother hollering from down the stairs. "Willow get up. Your going to be late." I pulled the blanket over my head and yawned. I knew I should've went to bed earlier but I was just starting to get into a really good book and I just couldn't put it down. My name is Willow Addison. I am sixteen and starting my junior year in high school. I have always been a bookworm I guess you can say. Not that I didn't have friends but I have just always been into my studies. I kept impecable grades and stayed out of trouble.

I replied honestly. “No offense but he is a player. And you are a really sweet person. You always stick up for your friends. I have even seen you sticking up for total strangers when they need help. Why do you and-” Gavin spoke up but I cut him off. “Xander and I go long back. We are not just some people who met a year or two ago. He knows me and I know him. He is like family to me at this point. We have known each other our whole lives. People might just see him as a player but I know the real him.” I informed Gavin, feeling slightly angry with how he was talking about Xander.
