The poor soul gasped as Dylan leaned close. “You can rest now,” Dylan whispered before yanking the blade free, blood dripping from its silver edge. The others trembled as he said, “Take the trash out.” Once they left, the air grew cold. A dark shadow coiled behind him, and Dylan immediately dropped to his knees. Out of the smoke stepped a man unlike any other—his eyes pitch-black, his skin with a faint silver hue, fangs glinting in the moonlight. “Lord Elijah,” Dylan said, kneeling.

I call ghost, he got more than one skill, and opening closed-door virtual and real ones are one of his many skills. He uses his key locks tools and messes with the door for a bit until it opens. Finally, I walk down with ghost behind me, I find a small girl laying naked on the floor. She's thin, too thin, her blond hair match mine only hers is dirty and matted on her head. Pitch-black. The sky was almost pitch-black if it were not for the startling flashes and instantaneous streaks from the bolts of lightning that crack the eerie dark. Flickers of light revealed the foggy visibility brought by the heavy downpour of rain which seemed to know no respite. Drops of rain were like pellets showering the roof with percussion. The night was conquered with unrest as the howling wind cut through the towering trees in gusts, and with its rush, the thunder roared in resonance. Violent.

"Just don't be afraid of me. If it bothers you, don't look." With those words, he seemed to dissolve into a thick stack of black fog. His face peered from the center and took on a horrifying, almost demonic appearance, with glowing red eyes and elongated features made of the same fog. Emily opened her mouth in a silent scream, but the only sound that emerged was an almost inaudible squeak. "Don't look," he commanded, his voice sounding like a haunted howl of wind. "Hold on tight," he instructed as the group barreled through the line of werewolves and into the night.

Jo fired again, turning the would-be matronly murderer into black char. The other guy was down but not out. He lay groaning on the ground, holding his shoulder. “Damn, I missed,” Jo muttered, placing her thick black boot on his neck and ignoring his pleas as she fired into his head. “Not this time,” she said as the sole of her boot thunked on the dingy, off-white linoleum, skidding in the pile of ash that occupied what used to be the outline of the Vampire.

I wouldn’t let myself be distracted by it and stayed focused. A few more moments passed. A sudden rustling came from my right, and I stood up quickly. Something moved again! What’s that sound? A loud, muffled thud came from underneath me, causing me to tense up slightly. Is that… the Echo Wraith? Or another spirit? Before I could react, a black shadow stepped into view. I blinked to adjust to the dim lighting, and a sharp pain stabbed my chest. I staggered backward, clutching my heart as I gasped for breath. A dark figure approached me swiftly. It stopped and stared at me with empty yellow eyes, its body seemingly engulfed in a black, cloudlike substance. Its entire form radiated a sinister

Bog nodded and followed Brandon toward the small clearing. “Do you know much about the old coot chasing you?” Brandon asked over his shoulder. “I came upon his little cottage in the woods and watched him morph from this tiny man with sagging skin to what you saw chasing me. It was very magical and quite disturbing,” Bog replied. He was pleased to be able to tell the truth to his new companion to whom he owed his life. “I’m not surprised,” Brandon replied, “since he’s a witchdoctor of the worst repute. He’s a loner and a cannibal from what I hear. He’s quite dangerous.”

Groans and maniacal laughter came from every direction, twisting my insides with terror. I spun, my heart pounding in my chest, ready for whatever was about to emerge. But to my shock, there was no one behind me. I turned back and then, through the fog, I saw it. A figure—no, a shadow—emerged from the mist, tall and formless, a mockery of a human shape. Its eyes glowed with a sickly light, the features shifting, like a nightmare made flesh. With an otherworldly quickness, it closed the distance between us. “Boo!” The figure grinned, its voice oozing with malicious delight.

Something dark that I couldn’t comprehend. I reached into my bag while fumbling for my phone with shaky hands, when I heard a loud screech behind me. My entire body froze. Slowly, heart thudding in my ears when I slowly turned around. I saw a black shadow. Humanoid... but not. It glinted like smoke while shifting in form. I couldn't see its face since there were only two glowing eyes while watching me. My voice caught in my throat. I couldn't scream and I even couldn't move.
