_Alaric's POV_ As we approached my car, I couldn't help but notice the awe in Alina's and Juliet's eyes. It was a sight to behold—a marvel of modern engineering that few ordinary people had the opportunity to encounter. They circled the shiny vehicle several times, examining each detail with curiosity. The design of the car was starkly different from the carriages they were familiar with; it was more enclosed and modern, giving off a futuristic feel that seemed to captivate them entirely.

The show ended at around three o'clock in the afternoon. Anna stood at the entrance of the theater, blinking her brilliant eyes and stretching lazily. The afternoon sun was shining. She was relaxed and happy after finishing her heavy work. Anna called Ethan and they arranged to go back home together. However, Anna had just taken a few steps away from the theater when she saw the crowd buzzing together in the square. "Oh gosh! Look, there's an extended six-wheeled Hummer." "What? Isn't it out of production?" "Yeah, so this car is a rare sight. I heard that it was converted from Hummer H2. Its streamlined body and cool double-row rear wheels are coordinated. It seems so stylish and luxurious."

I ask Glenn through our mind link. “Let’s wait and see what they do.” The lead car stops and a stout human climbs out behind the wheel, grunting and groaning from the effort it takes to get out from behind the wheel. The tiny vehicle wobbles and squeaks as the hefty human finally breaks free and almost falls out. I peek around a tree to get a better look, my jaw dropping open. In the passenger seat there’s an equally rotund woman in a floral dress, and in the backseat, three human pups, staring out of the windows with big eyes.

A massive screeching sound ensued as several cars spawned their brakes to avoid colliding. Such reckless endangerment deserved multiple yelling, but no one voiced even a whisper at her. Something was charming about her; something simply irresistible made them chill out. She smiled knowingly. She thought of the last time she consumed a human through sex and huffed. It felt like a million years ago. Finding love had made her stop consuming humans. She crossed over to the other side, and the cars resumed their motion.

Fifteen minutes later, the humans and our ally wolves riding in the ten armoured personnel carriers we stole from the military base, started to head onto the football field to distract everyone's attention, including Victor. The wolves may be fast and have sharp claws and fangs but there's no way they could wreck those armoured cars. But what worried me the most is those humans and wolves inside them. If all their bullets get consumed, it's either they will go out of those armoured cars and rush back or stay inside and wait for the battle to end. But I'm afraid that's not a choice for Victor. He will kill them and show them to the world. "Are you ready?" Scott muttered to me and Lilith.

Maybe 7 years old and a woman watching a movie. I know a lot about the digital world. Our world is also digitally controlled. One thing I just can't do is drive a car. We wolves don't have cars. We prefer running on our feet. Wolves see cars as being lazy so if a car is ever noticed in the pack, it's been burnt to ashes. "Mum, Xander. Meet..." She glance at me and I quickly understood what she meant. "Jay!" I help her answer. The expressions on their faces didn't go unnoticed.

“We could relax there for a bit and then continue driving tomorrow. Our car was destroyed so we have to rely on yours." I know they arrived in Human Town in multiple vehicles, probably Lycans prefer to move in groups. Now it works out well because the car they were driving is really too small to accommodate five people. “I have a better idea,” Harad explained. This time I yielded when he tugged me along with him.

Phoenix said. I raised an eyebrow. “You mean the ones that raised a mob and tried to kill us?” I asked. “Oh.” Phoenix said. The smile immediately left his face. It looked like he forgot the event that happened just a few days ago. But he recovered after that. “I know that they weren’t exactly nice to us, but there are still good humans.” Phoenix still tried to convince me. I shook my head with a faint humorless smile. “There’s no need to convince me of anything. I already know how humans only steal, kill and destroy. They only act good when they don’t know what you are.” I said.

She grumbled as she walked into the kitchen and sat on the mini-bench. " Keep on kidding yourself! Goodbye. " Alessia said and bolted out of the house to the garage as she got into her outdated Camry, she ignited the engine and drove off. *** Marcus couldn't help but fume in anger in his car as he had to wait in the traffic. He stared out the window and watched the weak humans going about their boring lives as he drove. He owned one of the biggest technical companies in the whole city and worked alongside humans, yet he still felt great hatred for them. Watching them in disgust, as some walked on the pedestrian lane and some in their cars making unpleasant noises with the horn of their cars.

Daffodil looked absolutely furious. Alexander was standing by the horses, feeding one a piece of grass. Only when I looked closer, did I realize that those were not real horses. They were shaped like horses, but they had leathery skin instead of fur. The hair that was supposed to be their manes was instead sharp, small horns. It looked like a shifter. "Is Kaiser coming?" I broke the silence, looking away from the weird horses. "No, I asked him to stay and help my mother." Alexander said. He turned and walked to the door, stepping inside the carriage. I followed and Silas got in behind me, Sei and Daffodil coming in last.
