He let out a slow, deliberate breath, a smirk slowly pulling at the corner of his lips—a look that was so devastatingly arrogant and knowing that it made my pulse spike all over again. He tilted his head, his dark eyes gleaming with a sudden, playful light that I hadn't seen in years.

What the fuck? Then, agonizingly slow, that lazy, devastatingly confident smirk pulls at the corner of his lips. He shifts his gaze from my white-knuckled grip on the blanket straight back into my eyes, and the electric gravity between us burns hotter than ever. The smirk on his face stretches into a full, devastatingly handsome grin. He leans back against my pillows, crossing his massive arms over his chest, looking entirely too pleased with himself. ”Wow…” Aiden draws out the word, his deep voice dripping with pure amusement.

" I admire it's speed, and I'll admit, it's really more than what we have requested. " I chuckled. " You can check it out if you want. " She smirked... seductively. ~~~~ She smirked... seductively. I think I should smirk seductively too... 😏😏😏 ❤️

I exclaimed. "What do you mean, I still look the same!" He said, trying to be all polite. "Oh stop it! I admit you were moderately good looking before but now you are a full blown stud! I mean just look at your arms and that cute mustache you're keeping," I teased him further. "Well I do what I can," he said, with a mischievous smirk. That smirk could only mean that he has caught on to the fact that I'm trying to tease him and he was playing along just fine.

She looked up with a start when she saw me, her eyes widening momentarily before a smirk played on her lips. The smirk – that was the first thing I noticed. It wasn't a genuine smile, not by a long shot. It was a practiced twitch of her lips, one corner curling upwards a little higher than the other, laced with a hint of smugness and something else I couldn't quite place yet. Maybe defiance? Maybe even a touch of… mischief?

The man smirked, his expression sharp and smug. “Well, hello there, pretty little thing,” he drawled, his eyes sweeping over me. “Mind telling me what you’re doing somewhere you’re definitely not supposed to be?”

But the smirk on her face made my heart settled in excitement for my action. It was a very naughty smirk. “You came prepared… now we can begin”.

She clarified with a bold smothering smirk on her face. “Alright, you have proven you are a careful lot enough. Now time for questions.”

she mused, one brow arching. “No,” I lied instantly. Her smirk deepened. “Oh, you definitely look happy.” I forced a stiff, awkward smile. “Little.”
