Keeping My Mate

Keeping My Mate

ShakingMyShadowsimagine yourself in a frozen forestmurmurs in the forest once humanonce upon a time in the forestgentle forest chapter 34
“My right eye is the sun, The light I see first, The glow that wakes me up in the morning. My left eye is the moon. The light I see last, The glow that watches me as I sleep. And as you love me, Both my days and my nights, My world will always revolve around: You." The poem that I had written after waking up and met Pandora echoed clear in my mind as we waited for Alistar to come to us. Leo was pacing back and forth anxiously, and I could tell that this entire situation was getting under his skin. I can’t really blame him though; I can’t imagine having to see my mate have another mate other then me.

I calmed her fears, and she was calm, And told her love with virgin pride; And so I won my Genevieve, My bright and beauteous Bride. "Bravo." She clapped for him, "not bad at all." "You love it?" "Of course I do. And guess what? I have a poem for you. I memorised it here in the hospital, I got bored and decided to learn something new." "Really? Am all ears." He rubbed his palms together in anticipation. "It's titled Annabelle Lee and was written by Edgar Allan Poe." She cleared her throat and started. All thoughts, all passions, all delights,

"Now back to study." Celeste nods, understanding Ms. Anne in more ways than the other clueless students could. I look down at my book and read the poem without a sound. For oft when on my couch I lie In vacant or in pensive mood, They flash upon that inward eye Which is the bliss of solitude; And then my heart with pleasure fills, And dances with the daffodils. The rest of the period passes by smoothly and when the bell rings for the lunch break, I stop Ryder before he could walk away. He has some explanation to give.

Wi' nocht but clouds and hills to hear me, And when the world to rest was laid I'd watch for dawn and wish her near me, Till one by one the stars were gone, The moor-cock to his mate called clearly, And daylight glinted on the burn Where red-deer cross at mornin' early. The sweet, almost mournful tone tugged at Joanna's heart. The years are long, the work is sair, And life is aftimes wae and wearie, Yet Foyer's flood shall cease to fall Ere my love fail until my dearie. I'd loved her then, I loved her now, And could the world wad be without her.

But standing beside a tree. --- And though Kaelen never saw it— Somewhere in the quiet of the grove, Where the wind no longer judged, And the earth remembered everything, A single white lily bloomed— Out of season. As if answering something carried on the wind. As if the bridge, once built, Was still holding. And still— Growing.

In his hand was a long spear that was as flexible as a flood dragon. "I did," the lady nodded her head, her eyes gleaming in excitement. She may look calm, but she had lived long enough to recognise the energy that came from the edge of the universe. That was the power of Zandor. It had been years since Zandor mysteriously disappeared after losing its gods. Yet now - after so many eons - it had finally reappeared. "That's the power of the Promised Land," the lady licked her lips seductively as her long fingers reached out for a black whip attached to her waist.

I hope that’s not the end end. So many left off pieces of the story all his friends on the other world, all the other gods story lines, he’s only used his blood born weapons and armour twice. Hasn’t even made it out of dreamscape yet. Still have everything in true verse going on while he “asleep”

I keep my voice low. "You're already are.." Legolas responded, which surprised me. The stalks in that meadow were swaying, as if they were the very substance of this green and bonny sea. It meandered in soothing breezes, the green flowing in bonny waves as any river would be delighted to do. It grew as if each flower represented a vivid recollection. The meadow has a casual grace about it, as if it is conscious of its own beauty yet would rather be at ease in this warm light. It was a pleasant melody, poetry for the eyes and soul, vivid in every color the world could imagine.

'By thy long grey beard and glittering eye, Now wherefore stopp'st thou me? The Bridegroom's doors are opened wide, And I am next of kin; The guests are met, the feast is set:

Elky moved another inch, and the floor under the bear rug reconsidered its job. “You don’t see things that are beyond the end of your short nose,” he said, not to persuade Andros, but just in case the lion’s head was taking notes. “You never did. You’re not building an empire. You’re stripping our house of dignity. You’re selling the stone staircase and calling it a ladder in item description. In short, you are a fool.” “Poetry,” Andros said, and lifted the glass again. “But thirst works better for me. Do you want some, Leo? Or are you drinking righteousness tonight?”

A once-in-a-lifetime encounter, something you can stumble upon but never seek out. Eulalia suddenly thought of a short poem: -- Here, it's barren, not a blade of grass grows -- Later, you came and passed through -- Everything flourished -- This is my heart And when you reverse it, it reads like this: This is my heart, everything flourished, later you came and passed through, here, it's barren, not a blade of grass grows. For Pinky, Steele was the person who could bring her light and warmth, but also the one who brought her endless darkness.
