The Forgotten Titan's Resurgence

The Forgotten Titan's Resurgence

Yet, it had been effortlessly dismantled. "Who are you?" Landon shouted, retreating 300 feet to avoid the punch, glaring icily at Gideon as his energy continued to escalate. Gideon remained expressionless and didn't waste any words. He leveraged his advantage. "Clausum Palm!" In the night sky, a massive claw print appeared, reaching for Landon with an overwhelming force that froze everything in its path. "Damn it!" Landon muttered through clenched teeth. He felt an immense pressure, as if a gigantic mountain was pressing down on his shoulders, making movement difficult.

Malyshka

Malyshka

The whole book was in Russian but one of the poems had writing in the outer margin: I still recall the wondrous moment: When you appeared before my sight As though a brief and fleeting omen, Pure phantom in enchanting light. In sorrow, when I felt unwell, Caught in the bustle, in a daze, I fell under your voice’s spell And dreamt the features of your face. Years passed and gales had dispelled My former hopes, and in those days, I lost your voice’s sacred spell, The holy features of your face. Detained in darkness, isolation,

DELICIA - DELIGHT -

DELICIA - DELIGHT -

Miss Tellaro entered in upon her in an impetuous fashion, and cried out, "oh, ma'am, only to think of Jatchard at our very door! To be able to purchase any book in the world there, as I am sure one may!" "Lord, my dear!" said Mrs Andromeda, in some dismay. "Never say your are bookish! Poems! Oh well, there may be no harm in that, one must be able to talk of the latest poems if they happen to become the rage. Marmion! I liked that excessively, I remember, though it was too long for me to finish.

The Golden Dragon's Princess

The Golden Dragon's Princess

“I did not imagine you would read poetry.” “What did you think I would be reading?” he asked me, haughtily. “I don’t know. Spell books, I guess.” His lips quirked, as if he were not sure whether to grimace, or laugh. “I am not a mage.” “What are the poems about?” I returned to my task. “The Paragon of Theodghar is set during a fabled war and tells of the battles and events during its last weeks. Its themes include fate, the glory of heroic battle, homecomings, rage and the downfall of pride.”

Leave it to Everleigh to make a person long for their own broody, sexy dragon. Seriously though, I couldn't put this book down. The world this author has created is so vibrant and fun it makes you want to dive in to the pages.
Sarah.
I really loved the book, I wish there were more like it on this app. The characters are charming and the story is beautifully written, the premise makes me want to continue reading the other books. I hope there will be lots more like this one and maybe even longer

Revenge of the Betrayed: The Domineering Duke Falls for Me

Revenge of the Betrayed: The Domineering Duke Falls for Me

Suddenly, an idea struck her, and she decided to finish the poem. The courtyard was filled with whispers, and Andrew sneered. "Selena wrote the poem, yet Miranda dares to copy it. Isn't that shameless? Her calmness is truly impressive!" "Lord Andrew, aren't you jumping to conclusions? I'm sure my poem and Selena's are different." Miranda's clear voice resonated. "Beyond the red river’s flow, where silent clouds do drift, A lone fortress stands among the peaks, so stern and stiff. The flute’s mournful song need not grieve willows' sway,

The Book of Deceive

The Book of Deceive

That very summit looked so far away. The wind howled through the lower branches of the majestic trees and through half opened tents. Men gathered around fires, sat and sang songs: Green green grass & willows; Weaving my sorrow. My yearning for thee. My yearning for thee. My yearning for thee. Quietly waiting for your return. Quietly waiting for your return. Tell me, my dear. Won't you come home? Won't you come home? Your homeland is longing for thee. Your homeland is longing for thee.

LEGEND OF A GODDESS

LEGEND OF A GODDESS

our existence, i have been around the lands, empty land, all were once occupied by beautiful people, and ruled by wise kings, but what happened today, they have become empty and ruined, lands where spirit now walks, i looked at all those lands and not even graves could be found and no tomb for their children, i was not spared, i already had my own shares of the cake, they had came and made me homeless and my life has been shattered for too long, i have no memories of my childhood, i was busy hiding around Jugular for years, we sure have a problem and the bigger problem is love, love from these heavenly beings, their love is wicked than hate, tell me, how do you deal with a war that can't be

Being sold To The Highest Bidder

Being sold To The Highest Bidder

It was as if they stood at the nexus of multiple realms, each one a mere step away. Liora, her eyes reflecting the myriad of hues, whispered, "It's more beautiful than any tale ever told of Meranthia." Zephyr, always cautious, replied, "Beauty often hides danger. We must tread carefully." As they ventured forward, the landscape shifted around them, ever-changing like the surface of a churning sea. One moment, they were amidst a verdant meadow with flowers singing in harmony; the next, they stood on the edge of a vast, shadowy chasm with whispers echoing from its depths.

I Will Find You

I Will Find You

Pierce stopped pretending we were going to discuss it. Shift. It isn’t poetry when it’s done right; it’s a calculus the body knows. Bone lengthens and resettles, skin yields and tightens, joints flip their hinges to the setting that remembers rain. My hands were paws before his third lunge completed. The room got lower and clearer. Air tasted like catalogs of who. The silver’s thin stink made my gums ache; Holland’s blood rewrote the oxygen into a command.
