What Separates Me and You

What Separates Me and You

The wind whistled past her ears, and above her was a sky full of stars and a round moon. She saw someone rushing towards her. She thought the scene felt so familiar. Amidst the swaying tree shadows, various scenes kept flashing before her eyes. She looked at the figure above, who was blocking the moonlight. Tears streamed down her cheeks. Slowly, she reached out her hand, and the person above extended his. Their hands could not touch each other, even though they were only two feet apart. The mountain wind howled, and the wind that blew past obscured her vision.

Rayna Pelkonen
This is one of the saddest female leads ever. It keeps getting worse for the FL. The plot is unclear. The reason for him being with both women and his feelings are unclear. It’s entertaining but not very satisfying. Like to know what his feelings are towards them and hope things get better for FL.

Criminally in love

Criminally in love

"You see, my relationship with your brother wasn't smooth. He's the handsome dude every girl wants, while I'm the poor girl everyone doesn't want around them. We created that bond, the trust, the love. Love without trust is not love. Mike and I have been in this together. We've worked so hard making our relationship work out for years." "About the distance, it hurts everyday to be apart. Everyday I crave his touch, his cuddles, his kisses, but I'm left hugging my legs or pillow everyday. We've chosen the right part, I don't see us breaking up anytime soon. Distance ain't our problem. I think this whole distance shit is like trying to test our relationship, and how we can stay without the oth

Divorce After Betrayal Ex-Wife Revenge

In the dark, two hearts that had once drifted apart… slowly began to understand one simple truth: Sometimes, distance doesn’t come from leaving— but from being too afraid to stay.

Not healed. But closer. The distance hadn’t vanished. But it no longer felt infinite. And for now, that was enough.

After Divorce, I Became Mrs. Ford

And love was not a reward for remorse. --- The distance between them was no longer filled with resentment. It was filled with reality. And reality asked harder questions than heartbreak ever did. ---

Longing for the Unreachable

Longing for the Unreachable

"Yeah, honey. I'm wiped, but I'm so happy I get to see you." I simply replied, "Okay." Since he'd "left for work," I hadn't set foot in the place we shared. I stayed at my own apartment because the condo felt contaminated by him. … That night, he came home to the condo buzzing with energy, only to realize I wasn't there. He sounded wounded over the phone. "Honey, why weren't you here to greet me? Do you know how sad it feels to come home to an empty place? Come on, make it up to me."

Falling for the bad girl

Falling for the bad girl

I inhaled deeply, memorizing his scent as if it were a part of my own essence. “I’ll miss you so much,” I admitted, my voice muffled against his shoulder. “Me too,” he replied, pulling back to meet my gaze. “But we’ll be okay. Remember that. Love can withstand any distance.” With a pang in my chest, I nodded, hope blooming amidst the ache of separation. Stepping away, I felt stronger—ready to leap into the unknown world ahead of me. As I passed through the security checkpoint, each step resonated with sentiment and promise. A new chapter awaited me: one where my art could flourish, where friendships would grow, and love could endure—stretching across distances, woven into the fabric of my he

Return of the Abandoned Wife

Return of the Abandoned Wife

--- And as silence stretched— As memories clashed with reality— As the space between who they were and who they had become grew impossible to bridge— One final truth emerged: --- Some distances— --- Are not meant to be closed. --- Because crossing them… --- Means losing what little remains of who you once were.

The Blood Moon Prophecy

The Blood Moon Prophecy

His thumb was moving slowly across the back of my hand in the way it moved when he was not thinking about moving it, and outside the window the evening was doing its good and unhurried work, and the bond between us was warm and full and entirely sufficient. "For the record," he said, after a while. "Yes," I said. "The distance is always correctable," he said. "Whatever distance exists between us at any given moment. It is always correctable." I thought about the border and the winter garden and the corridor and the formal hall and all the distances we had crossed and all the ones we had failed to cross and come back and crossed anyway. "I know," I said. "I need you to know it as a permanent

“You think space is a good thing.” “I think the bond might be strong enough now to allow some physical distance between us, without either of us weakening, like it did before.” He said matter of factly. “But no. I don’t want space, but maybe it will give you time to think about things. But I think…” he moved toward her, closing the distance until his chest was almost brushing hers, “...that you’re afraid of what we are when we’re too close. And maybe a little distance will show you that it’s already too late.”
