Tuberose

Tuberose

The night sky stretches above, clear and star-studded, a canvas of serenity that contrasts with the chaos within me. I've always found comfort in writing, and tonight is no different. The words flow from my fingertips onto the screen, a form of therapy that helps me process the storm of emotions raging inside me. As I jot down a few lines about my situation, the poem takes shape, capturing the essence of my pain and confusion. It's a bittersweet creation, a reflection of the tangled web of emotions I find myself trapped in.

Jane Chunli
Nice story so far. Keep it up author but I think author should improve in her tenses and grammar. The story is nice one, I like the way she gave glimpses of what would happen in the story in the future. Nice book and story line author, keep it up. But Michael seemed pompous for my liking.

The story is great, the way you portrayed how your closed one (best friend ) can turn into a foe with time, how in one second everything changes and it hurts when you know you are right but no one trusts you. Well done btw, good luck

Anna's Decision

Anna's Decision

'Really, I think there are people who want to reach immortality, or have it accepted. 'Well, all those shouldn't be your reasons. The companion has come closer, expressing your-self. The only reason you should write is because you need to. You know what Bukowski said, 'Don't do it.' The poem or story has to be for you without caring what anyone says.' I began to see nodding faces, including those of my two unexpected visitors, who were perhaps surprised at my approach. 'Okay, what topics is the poetry about?' A brainstorming followed, where some of the most typical ones emerged: human nature, love, death, the passage of time, suffering. In some cases it was pointed out that any element of th

Poetry in Denounement

Poetry in Denounement

Farewell with an Art De La Poésie When it comes to poetry, It is as easy as you might've thought of it was supposed to. Several inspirations or motivations may be what others would need to create tons of verses and drama. Some even create their own stories based on what they see and hear. To a few, the power of comfort food is needed to create those statements that you'd like to burst out of the bubble. For Instance, you are sitting on your chair, eating a jar of Nutella with no idea what to write.

Living And Dying

Living And Dying

Writing is the only way I can let my self escape aside from its twin-reading. I write and write until I didn't notice the time. I already compile 35 poems in qq1qa span of an hour and some minutes I guess. I stretched both of my arms and yawned at the same time. Tim sat beside me and he offered me a bowl of vegetable salad. We ate together quietly as my mind is travelling to somewhere as I brainstom for the next poems. “ Have you ever tried writing poems?” I asked to fill the deafening silence. He shake his head no while munching the food in his mouth. “ I am a bad writer.” he said making me eyeborws furrowed.

My Second Lead

My Second Lead

Their collective response harmonized with a sense of anticipation, setting the tone for the day ahead. As the class settled, Mr. Ito began his lesson with an engaging introduction. The promise of exploring the enchanting realm of poetry stirred a wave of excitement within Akira. She opened her book to page 107, her eyes eagerly scanning the verses that lay ahead. The opportunity to immerse herself in the rhythm and beauty of poetry filled her with Anticipation lingered in the air, and a smile tugged at the corners of Akira's lips. As an aspiring writer and poet, her journey into the world of creativity had begun at a young age. Even in grade school, the seeds of her passion for poetry had ta

Nanny For The Alpha's Lost Twins

Nanny For The Alpha's Lost Twins

If I dream of the White Wolf tonight, I’m going to ask her advice. I snorted. If I’d been that White Wolf, I’d have told her to stay away from Ella. I was about to close the journal when I saw the second page ended with a poem. Olivia liked to sprinkle poems into her journals. You cannot say, or guess, for you know only A heap of broken images, where the sun beats, And the dead tree gives no shelter, the cricket no relief, And the dry stone no sound of water. Only There is shadow under this red rock,

I Didn't Mean To Fuck My Stepbrother

I Didn't Mean To Fuck My Stepbrother

"Something you want but cannot have." Mr. Vance wrote it on the board in clean, unhurried letters, then set the marker down and turned to face us like he had just said something completely ordinary. He had not said something completely ordinary. "That is your prompt for the next two weeks," he said. "Two pages minimum. No genre restrictions. Fiction, personal essay, prose poetry — the form is yours. What I am looking for is honesty. Specifically the kind most people spend their whole lives learning to avoid."

I write every. Five Red Echo, memories Every "FREE! Is that it?" I have to be sure before I type in anything again. I read the poem again. Five fragile hearts are forever down Sunsets fade red, and darkness spreads Amidst the ruins of a love own Echoes of memories that refuse to go Fading every dream, and hope is blind Eagle eyes watch, moments of failure's mown I write down the rhyming words at the end of each line. Conceit & Kindness

Conceit & Kindness

"The sky was sthe ame, blue, dark, deep, and intense But for some reason, it was pink that day, filled with love. That was the first time I saw Laila. Her blue eyes, brown flocks of hair, and her cherry-red lips were like the beauty of Kashmir. And for the very first time, I realized why the poems are written. My heart was grieving. I was begging for my life, and there she was running in the green garden as if she were flying high in the Sky. Wh,y Laila, Why? Thousands of Poets die to write a book, But my book only calls your name. I stopped writing when my cell phone rang, and it was my mother. "Jessica, I want you to be here in minutes. I have some important news to share with you. "I cann

House of Sighs

House of Sighs

Nice in a way. Embarrassment almost always overcame Peter as he stood before the group. I’m a joke to them because I’m only eighteen. On his last visit, the head mentor urged him to write something real. This time, Peter felt he’d done just that. Up to now, his poems concerned girls, echoing the rhythmic timing of pop ballads. Peter wrote to calm himself, and he found he needed calming after his mother finished with him. She was furious that he was missing another Sunday sermon, and as such, refused to drive him. And so, the pen scratched hard and fast that morning, words spilling onto the page. He felt better afterwards, a little less like punching someone.
