Unfulfilled Promises

Unfulfilled Promises

Tears streamed endlessly, unstoppable. Our bedroom was filled with memories: photos Adrian had taken of me and portraits I’d sketched of him. Every single one now revealed itself as part of the elaborate trap he’d woven for me. What was there left to hold on to? Footsteps echoed outside. Panic surged. I fled into the bathroom, hands shaking as I unlocked my phone. I found a long-forgotten contact and typed a message. "I want to completely disappear from this world."

The Ultimate Husband

The Ultimate Husband

The pretty lady on-stage said to her mic, “Ladies and Gentlemen, my name is Penny and I’m the host for the Poetry League. I’ll now come up with a theme where everyone should base their poetry composition on. Whoever writes the best will earn the title The Gifted Hibiscus Scholar! You should know this title is the highest honor for scholars and literati!” Penny scanned the crowd. “It’s deep into autumn, so the theme for this year’s Poetry League is Autumn. Whoever writes the best poem wins!”

The Rejected Hybrid

The Rejected Hybrid

With each stroke of my pen, I breathe life into characters who dance across the pages, their stories unfolding before my very eyes. The anticipation builds, like a crescendo in a symphony, as I eagerly await the moment when Professor Steven's prompt will be revealed. Will it be a challenge to create a fantastical world filled with mythical creatures? Or perhaps a prompt that delves into the depths of human emotions, exploring the complexities of the human psyche? Whatever it may be, I am ready to embrace it wholeheartedly, to immerse myself in the depths of my imagination and let the words flow freely.

Pride and Promises

Pride and Promises

I looked around to find a note near the vase. #Bribe 2.2: Hope you're still in a good mood after #bribe 2.1. But if not, then these will definitely improve your mood. White rose reminds me a lot of you, y'know. Beautiful to look at, but can make you bleed if you press a wrong button, or wrong part of the stem. XD. Anyways, I'm learning how to prevent it. Hopefully I'll find one without thorns someday. Have a good day, friend. ;)

Is my best friend Brother Prohibited?

Is my best friend Brother Prohibited?

Her voice was thick with emotion. “Not just any journal,” he clarified, his gaze intent. “It’s filled with prompts. Things that made me think of you. Places we’ve been, conversations we’ve had, little moments I remember. And pages for you to fill in your own thoughts, your own dreams.” He opened it to a random page. “See? ‘Describe the feeling of standing under the summer rain after a long, hot day.’ Or, ‘If you could have dinner with any historical figure, who would it be and why?’ Just things to make you smile.

Promises Are Lies

Promises Are Lies

I was confused about what to say. "Are you going to complete it today?" he asked me. God! Why is he always in an angry mood? "I need some clothes to change," I said. "So, what can I do?" he asked. "I don't have any spare clothes to change into," I said. "Then don't wear anything," he said. "What?" I shouted. He is so shameless! How can he say this? Idiot fellow! "Can you lend me your mother's or sister's dress?" I asked.

Poetry in Denounement

Poetry in Denounement

Farewell with an Art De La Poésie When it comes to poetry, It is as easy as you might've thought of it was supposed to. Several inspirations or motivations may be what others would need to create tons of verses and drama. Some even create their own stories based on what they see and hear. To a few, the power of comfort food is needed to create those statements that you'd like to burst out of the bubble. For Instance, you are sitting on your chair, eating a jar of Nutella with no idea what to write.

The Blood Moon Ascendance

The Blood Moon Ascendance

It was all fancy and stuff but just flavor text to the real message. "So take this plea, this whispered call, and let your spirit guide, Through darkness deep and shadows long, let truth not be denied. For in unraveling these cryptic lines, in answers you will find, The key to break the shackles, and free a captive mind." Now this section and the first may as well be the meat of the message. The poem is one where a prophet or oracle or something revealed to a group of heroes their destiny. He asks them to help the world, as it were. And since the person picked this poem to go with, it was clear that the 'asking for help' part was her main focus.

I Didn't Mean To Fuck My Stepbrother

I Didn't Mean To Fuck My Stepbrother

"Something you want but cannot have." Mr. Vance wrote it on the board in clean, unhurried letters, then set the marker down and turned to face us like he had just said something completely ordinary. He had not said something completely ordinary. "That is your prompt for the next two weeks," he said. "Two pages minimum. No genre restrictions. Fiction, personal essay, prose poetry — the form is yours. What I am looking for is honesty. Specifically the kind most people spend their whole lives learning to avoid."
