Noah collapsed into the dirt, his vision fading as the poison began to crawl through his veins. The "Queen" was dead.

Queen of the Forsaken

Queen of the Forsaken

“She’s from the Moonbane pack.” The room tilted. I stood so quickly my chair scraped against the stone, toppling backward. “What?” The soldier flinched. “We—we confirmed it. Our scouts say she was seen recently patrolling on lands—injured but alive.” “Is she some kind of scout for that goddamn pack?” I groaned. My fists clenched at my sides, veins bulging. Moonbane. The name curdled in my mouth like venom. That was our enemy. The ones who slaughtered my people. The ones who would rather see my kingdom in ashes than ever see peace. And she—that sweet-faced, soft-spoken woman—was one of them?

Fated to My Alpha Boss

Fated to My Alpha Boss

The Queen stopped speaking for a few long minutes, clearly composing herself. I waited patiently for her to be ready to speak again because I could only imagine how overwhelming reliving all of this had been for her. No matter what the king wanted me to believe, the evidence in the Alpha Archives completely corroborated Queen Yarrow’s story about abuse and poisoning. And if she was living in secret in the home of a disgraced alpha, then she was hardly living the sort of high life that would come from the money the sort of crimes I had uncovered would have built for her.

The Bitten Queen

The Bitten Queen

A tiny blue house sat crooked and weather worn, tucked just outside the reaches of town. The paved road ended turning into gravel that eventually thinned into a little dirt walking path. The surrounding forest seemed to grow and swallow everything around it. No cars had been down this road in ages and the remnants of the long forgotten houses hid in the shadows of the trees. Louise walked slowly, letting each step linger so she could savor the moment and the quiet beauty around her, despite the sorrow and the hurt that had shaped her young adult life. Louise stopped in front of the slumped and sagging white porch, or what was left of a white porch. The paint was chipped and peeling, pulling a

The Knight's Claimed Bride

The Knight's Claimed Bride

"No. That's not—she wasn't supposed to—" "But she did," The Queen said coldly. "And you are responsible." Ashford shook his head, his eyes wide, panicked. "I didn't want her to get hurt. I wanted—" "You wanted her to yourself," The Queen interrupted. "At any cost." Ashford's breath came in ragged gasps. "Is she—will she—" "The healers are working," The Queen said. "But the poison was designed to kill. Slowly, yes, but effectively."

Crown of The Omega

Crown of The Omega

"Then who?" I felt my mates' tension through our bond. This was the moment that could save us or damn us all. "Queen Mother Isadora of the Ironfang Pack. She poisoned him during a peace dinner to start a war that would eliminate both our bloodlines." Empress Valdira was silent for a long moment. "Prove it." "I cannot. She is dead, her conspirators are dead or scattered, and any evidence died with them twenty years ago." "Then you offer me nothing but words."

My Werewolf Prince Charming

My Werewolf Prince Charming

"Nightmist…" Romeo said and Zolan's eyes widened in fear. He quickly got the prince to lean against the wall and immediately checked on his wound. "Fuck. It's indeed nightmist!" Zolan cursed. Nightmist was the most lethal poison ever created because there was no known antidote for it. This poison could only be obtained by the werewolfs' royal family and it was said that there was only a very little amount left in the possession of the royals. No one knew who created this poison. All they knew was that this Nightmist had been gifted to a queen long, long ago.

Rising from the Ashes

Rising from the Ashes

"Yet, later, on the night I left the palace to return across the ocean, I learned the truth—the Little Emperor had been poisoned with arsenic, and the one who killed him was his very own mother! "Over 100 palace maids and the court physicians were also murdered along with him. I only survived because I was a foreigner and posed no threat to her power!" Stanley's voice shook with barely contained fury. "This time, returning to Holtrien, I have only one goal—to continue living and find that Demon Queen's burial place so that even in death, she will never know peace! "Andrew, and all of you, I know that Holtriens don't particularly like that Demon Queen either. So let me take the Elixir of Immo

Reynir Kjartansson
Very good story and the ending was relatively good since each part of the story give a obvious closure. The audio book is also available the whole story. Other authors should follow this example. There is nothing worse than a forced ending or a cut off story, so this story gets all stars, great job!

Traveller Of Two Worlds

Traveller Of Two Worlds

A trusted royal scribe—a man who had served the palace for over a decade—was found dead before sunrise. A dagger coated in poison was discovered strapped to his leg. The second attempt followed soon after. A servant carrying tea for the Queen was intercepted before she could enter the throne room. Hidden beneath the silver tray was a vial of deadroot extract, a lethal poison. The servant, after interrogation, confessed that her family had been taken hostage by nobles who ordered the hit. Then came the third, fourth, and fifth attempts. Archers on rooftops. Explosives set along the Queen’s carriage route. Blades hidden in the folds of a courtier’s robes.

The Vampire's queen

The Vampire's queen

I couldn't imagine going that long without talking to my mate. I decided no matter what would happen ,I would always work things out with him and not let things get to strenuous because I love him very much. My business was blooming so much and was attracting so much money per month . I didn't really work much and left most to my maids but focused on my son. My mate was always suportive no matter what I did . I knew no matter what our family of different species would always strive through it all. It's funny we went against nature and mated together and even had a children. I was indeed a Vampire's Queen.
