Khan was surprised to see such a straightforward man. He had always hated the roundabout way of human interaction, so he was pleasantly surprised to find Philip otherwise. He did not hate humans in general, just those who had twisted personalities and evil intentions. Those people were a great danger to monster beasts. Many people liked to hunt monster beasts for fun or kill to get their inner cores to improve their strength. There were many ways to improve one’s strength, and killing monster beasts to get their inner cores was the worst option.
