"Well, get ready for a crash course then." "Christmas is a special time of the year," she explained, her voice filled with warmth. "It's a time when people come together to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ. It's a time of love, joy, and giving. We exchange gifts, spend time with loved ones, and spread kindness to others."

Karter "Don't you just love Christmas?" Marie asks dreamily staring at the ceiling above us. "it's alright." I say. Marie turns to me with a harsh glare, "What do you mean "it's alright" it's the best time of the year!" Marie exclaims. "Just because they say that in a song doesn't mean Christmas is the best time of the year babe." "Whatever. When the spirits of Christmas come and haunt you in your sleep, you'll be a believer."

Hasn't the rule always been Christmas music starts on Thanksgiving day? The song changes and new lyrics quickly cover the silence. "Here comes Santa paws" makes my steps falter. How this song is worse than the chipmunks, I don't know, but it is. I pass by the line of carts—my sister's dog doesn't need that many Christmas gifts, even if she does treat him like her new baby. The cute little Yorkie was a gift from her new boyfriend. She thinks it's their chance to raise a puppy together, find out what kind of father he'll be and whether or not he is marriage material. I see it as more of a twelve- to eighteen-year reminder she'll have of this guy if they don't work out.

The Courtesan's story will continue after school break, so expect book 2 soon... For now enjoy this bonus story.... ******* Prologue. Sleigh bells ring and the all too familiar sounds of classic Christmas music pour in through my earbuds as I walked down the snow-crusted sidewalk. Closing my eyes, I hummed along to the tune of “Hark! The Herald Angels Sing With lyrics written by Charles Wesley,.” Sad to say, this is probably as Christmassy as I'm going to get.

Ava and Ana wore Christmas plump dresses and glittering caps too. As soon as Flynn and I joined them, we started singing as a piano and guitar was played to add rythm to the song. "Silent night.. Holy night... All is bright... All is calm.. Round your virgin mother and child.. Holy infant so tender and kind... Sleep in heavenly peace... Sleep in heavenly peace..." From there we sang the second chorus and other Christmas songs too. After blowing the candle and cutting the cake, Ana and Ava took the responsibility of sharing the gift to all our workers while we packed the remaining gifts and vowed to open them in New York.

Mark and I have traveled to my father's place to spend the day before Christmas Eve with him. We stayed overnight until the day after Christmas. The movie we were watching, "Home Alone," was cut short by a knock on the door. "I'll fetch it." I say going up. I enter the door and I'm welcomed with 'carolers.! " We want to use this opportunity to extend our warmest holiday greetings and best wishes for a prosperous new year to you and your loved ones." My family from New York sings with their matching caps on as though they rehearsed.

She slapped his hand away. "Yeah, the lady version of yours." Nova said for the first time. I think she is not the person to talk randomly. Tristan winked at her. "Jingle bells, jingle bells Jingle all the way Oh, what fun it is to ride In a one-horse open sleigh, hey Jingle bells, jingle bells Jingle all the way Oh, what fun it is to ride In a one-horse open sleigh....." We heard the chores of Christmas song. A big Santa was holding his Santa stick with Santa costume. He walked towards us. Anna flung at him and he laughed.

I was a painful memory that cropped up every Christmas, and a tragedy that haunted that rest stop along the highway. The snow melted, and spring arrived. Everything came back to life again. The grass grew, and the birds sang. Come winter, snow would fall over that rest stop once more. Only this time, there wasn't going to be an Omega standing there, waiting for her family that would never come.

The man prepared to shoot, however, his neck was snapped in half, and blood splashed against the black tinted windows… The dark sky kept showering the earth with snow. Children were building snowmen and throwing snowballs at each other. Longing for Santa Claus to fulfil their wishes.Christmas songs rang, and some sang along with them. "The cookies have no taste. I wish they had Kamala's touch" Anastasia said. The house was quiet, although there were many people around the table. There was nothing joyful about it.

Parker exclaimed. “But how is that possible?” Ryder demanded, “he can’t be a different person every year, can he?” “Actually he can.” Paisley corrected, “Daddy explained it to me once. He said that Santa is so busy in the North Pole getting ready for Christmas, that he just doesn’ have the time to visit every city in the world aforehand to find out what everyone wants, or even to read all the letters on his own. So he has thousands of helpers who go out and collect the letters and dress up like him to find out what pups want for Christmas!”
