The Game of Heavens and Earth

The Game of Heavens and Earth

“My friends, our journey is long. Let’s save this for another day, would everyone agree?” After a pondering pause, all heads nodded in agreement. “Now, I have a story to tell.” He scooped a blue powder and tossed it into the bonfire. “Once upon a time….” The flame burst again, but this time, fiery images of animals, humans, and landscapes appeared. From the Greek heroes like Perseus and Jason, the adventures of Thor and Loki, and to the African spider god, Anansi, which was our first time hearing it, every story he told was brought to life by the flame.

Werewolf Academia; Revenge is best served cold

“I guess it’s story time, huh? Fine. You know how we came into existence, don’t you?” “I know the basics,” I replied hesitantly. “The Moon Goddess created us, right? To serve her?” He let out a bitter chuckle. “That’s what the elders tell us. But the truth is a bit more... messy.” He began to speak, his words deliberate and weighted with centuries of pain. **The Tale of the First Lycans**

Search for the Three Drops of Blood

Hanny was vastly devastated this time around. “What should we do! What should we do! The cracks are growing wider and wider!” Evania got drowned deeper and deeper within her panic, fear, and also agitation. “There must be something which we can do! Something! There must be something, Friends...” suggested Sumico, walking here and there at her spot. “What’s that, Sumico?” asked Hanny and Evania simultaneously, also within their panic, fear, and anxiety. “According to the urban-legend and so-called ‘myth’, based on the crucial essential pictures engraved on the gigantic stone on the sacred hill, our three drops of blood...”

The Ascension

The Ascension

"You are correct, young man. My name is Anda, one of the goddesses of this place. Please bear in mind that you are all now in the Underworld. This whole world is called that. This world is a never-ending wasteland. The only sanctuary for humans and all deceased beings is the sacred mountain behind me, Mount Balatukan." The people expressed their confusion. They all inspected the mountain that stood tall after the forest. Then they began debating on what was currently happening and what the goddess meant when she said that. The young man from before kept frowning. He felt like he heard the name Mount Balatukan before, but it was that of a volcano… Wait, were his memories even reliable when he

Quite the unique story in this website. I have read until chapter 50, it's a nice fantasy that is also like just a slice of life, at times heavy, at times just like a breath of fresh air. Only problem is the expensive chapters. Good work though.

"Anyway, a kuntilanak is a ghost of a mother who died during pregnancy or sometime after childbirth. Can be any cause of death but usually the deaths are unnatural, one of the most popular ones are that she committed suicide after killing her baby. She did that because she got pregnant and gave birth out of wedlock and couldn't stand her village's ridicules." "Did she become a ghost because

He later realized that the stories were probably just myths like the many other stories he was told when he was young. “You really believe in Serimang, Lankko?” Enzir scoffed. “Yes, Jad Enzir,” replied Lankko. “The creature’s a myth, Lankko.
