ASHES OF HER MERCY

ASHES OF HER MERCY

Not out of love, never out of love but out of control. I opened the first master directory. Medical Records: Presbyterian Hospital, New York. I hit the command line execute key. Executing script: GHOST PROTOCOL V4. The red progress bar crept forward. 12%. 34%. 68%. On the screen, her blood type, her emergency contacts, the sickening record of her forced bone marrow extraction for Lucian's precious childhood sweetheart, it all began to dissolve into corrupted gibberish. I watched the text turn into hexadecimal garbage before disappearing completely into an overwritten void.

Vows of Ashes

Vows of Ashes

“I don’t know, Elias.” His voice cracked slightly. “She didn’t say. The boat was leaving. There were Cassano men watching the dock. We didn’t have time to stand there and talk.” He rubbed both hands over his face. “I took the money.” I looked away. “I took it,” he repeated. “And I kept my mouth shut.” “For nineteen years.” “Yes.” “You watched me grow up believing she was dead.” His eyes met mine. “Yes.” “And you said nothing.” “I was afraid.” “You were paid.”

The Lost Pack

The Lost Pack

Whether she likes it or not, the pull will come. I don’t say any of the words running through my mind; I don’t think she is ready to hear them. Instead, I sit in the silence with her, letting her lean into me if she wants to. The coppery scent of blood still hangs in the air, a grim reminder of everything else going on tonight. I check Ryder and Remy through the bond. They are calm now, a good sign. Poppy finally breaks the silence. “Why me?” Her voice is small, broken in a way I’ve never heard from her. “Out of all the people in the world, why would it be me?”

Loving this book so far! Author, as many have stated in the chapter comments, 291 & 292 are repeat chapters from 283 & 284. Though I do believe they should be at 291/292 (makes more sense) and not 283/284.

this was the first story I read by this author. it was beautiful! I felt every emotion and got some crazy looks from my mate when I would start laughing or wiping my face because I shed some tears. it's definitely worth reading. I finished it in 2 days because I literally couldn't put it down

My Demon Ex Lover

My Demon Ex Lover

Asha let out a weak, “please.” Young’s eyes snapped back to her body with Blood’s bloodlust coating his eyes in a very particular type of glazed over look. It hadn’t exactly been that swirl they held before, more of a film. It was a lot less scary to Asha this time and did far more to heighten her libido. “That’s right, beg.” The coarseness of Blood’s voice oozed from Young’s lips. It was proving more and more difficult for Young to be able to hold him back but he refused to stop now. It’d taken too long and too much sacrifice for him to.

The Luna's Law

The Luna's Law

*Poppy* The air in the car felt heavy as we bounced along the dirt road, the rhythmic bounce of the wheels barely covering the chaos swirling in my mind. I couldn't shake the image of Dante's lifeless body, now shrouded in white silk and adorned with calla lilies and black roses. Each flower seemed to mock the tragedy, a haunting reminder of our failure. I gripped the edge of the seat, trying to steady my raging heart. The news we carried was more than just the death of a warrior; it was a ticking time bomb, threatening to ignite a war between kingdoms.

Rising from the Ashes

Rising from the Ashes

Suddenly, the light in the abyss began flickering. Andrew sensed something and immediately spun around. Nyx turned as well. They saw a figure clad entirely in black battle armor, bathed in radiance, slowly rising from the abyss. Nyx gasped, "It's Arya!" Andrew was also deeply shocked. The current Arya was completely different from the one he knew. The difference was night and day. However, what made Andrew and Nyx even more alarmed came next. A towering pillar of blood-red light followed Arya, rising from the abyss. This blood-red light was immensely vast, shooting straight into the sky.

Reynir Kjartansson
Very good story and the ending was relatively good since each part of the story give a obvious closure. The audio book is also available the whole story. Other authors should follow this example. There is nothing worse than a forced ending or a cut off story, so this story gets all stars, great job!

A Few Hundred Poppies

A Few Hundred Poppies

I wondered how much longer I'd be able to keep the secret from Bapi. "You were saying something about poppies?" I probed, finishing off the tea and placing the cup on the ground. "Oh, yes. So, I went on a walk, last night, and I found a few poppy flowers in the poppy fields out at the edge of the town," he said, the usual playfulness in him mitigated. "You're drunk, aren't you?" He shook his head, chuckling. "No, you don't understand! I saw opium poppies."

Blood and Roses

Blood and Roses

Oh. You don’t know me yet, how rude of me. I forgot to introduce myself. My name is Anastasia, last name Gastillo. I am an omega to the Grimsborrow pack, or town. We’re really both. My family comes from money, and I’ve never known what it’s like to suffer, or even work for anything. I just had to ask and it was given. That isn’t the case anymore. You see, two weeks ago, I woke up to something horrifying and I haven’t been able to think straight since then. /FLASHBACK/

GIVEN TO THE WRONG ALPHA

GIVEN TO THE WRONG ALPHA

Toward. Toward Ash. Toward Cove. Toward the kid about to explode. “Mother!” Wrath shouts. “Don’t!” I hit the vines. They don’t grab me. They part. First Blood knows First Blood. Ash is on her knees. Burning. Cove is on his. Smoking. Vines connecting them. Feeding. Killing both. I drop between them. Bone knife’s in my hand. Again. Always. “Stop,” I tell them. To Cove. To Ash. To the Tree. “Both of you. Stop.”
