I stare at the two red lines on the white strip I hold between my fingers. A smile spreads across my face as a wave of euphoria rushes through me. I blink, happiness swelling within me, thinking of Richard and how thrilled he’ll be to learn that today, we’re making one of our biggest dreams come true. I’m pregnant. You’re still in this house. Don’t ruin that. That girl has power now. Not real power, but the kind that makes people soft. Sympathy. She’s pregnant.”

However, that night, she passed out while preparing my meal. I took her straight to the clinic, where the healer examined her. After a few minutes of silence, he looked up at me, his face filled with confusion. “What's wrong?” I questioned, genuinely concerned. “She’s pregnant, Alpha. She’s carrying a child.” My heart stopped.

I decided to go and see the pack healer later that day to find out what was happening to me. “How are you feeling now Serena?” The pack healer asked me. “I’m good,” I said while trying to sit on the bed. “What’s wrong with me? I hope it’s not a bad illness?” I uttered. She smiled. “You are not sick at all.” I furrowed my brows in confusion. “What do you mean by that?” “You are pregnant Serena. You are two weeks pregnant.” She revealed.

The space shattered with the scream, and everyone watched in amazement as the fragments appeared in the space background. Zelda smiles. She is a child, and she is highly confident and arrogant. Zelda was born a super-soldier vampire, and she is no ordinary vampire. When Zelda was an infant, she communicated with Augustus in the hope of saving her life. I cut her short by sitting on the donkey chair. I couldn’t control them, and it suddenly hit me that the supermoon was drawing near. I groaned at the realization that my powers would be unstable for days. I decided to check on Zelda.
