Novel & Cerita Pride And Prejudice Novel Read Online

The only one I find that slightly fit the description is my favourite book of all time, Pride and Prejudice. I smile despite myself. Of course Massimo owns a copy. A thick leather-bound edition too that has probably never been touched. I tug it free from the shelf and carry it to the armchair in the corner, curling my legs beneath me, my sweater sliding off one shoulder. It’s too quiet in here. Almost as if I'm the only one in this big, grand house. The silence stretches long enough to suffocate me and my thoughts, and is only broken from time to time by the distant tick of the grandfather clock in the hallway.

I struggled desperately against the guards holding me back and screamed, "Rupert! Stop this! Are you trying to kill someone?!" Rupert looked down at me calmly, almost smugly. "Mr. Shaw, so what if someone dies? Do you really think Ms. Prescott would send me to prison over your two hick parents?" My heart raced with panic, but I knew deep down that Rupert was right. He was Jaclyn's most trusted butler, while my marriage to her was nothing more than an arranged engagement made by our grandparents decades ago. After we got married, she treated me with complete indifference. For ten years straight, she let Rupert humiliate me at every turn.

Sometimes she would even bring Adonis outside. Today she sat on one of the wooden chairs reading Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen which had caught her attention when she entered into Adryan's own personal library, growing up Jade had heard many people talk about the book, but being blind she didn't ever get the chance to read it until now. Adonis was sitting on the blanket Jade had spread out for him, his toys seemingly more interesting than anything. - Adryan closed the door to his office, he inhaled and tried to catch the scent of strawberries, and he was successful when he found the lingering scent of strawberries coming from his right, following the scent he came across the outdoor bal

"But yet you're giving all sorts of praises to Pride and Prejudice?" "Mr. Darcy was smitten by Elizabeth the very first time he led eyes on her. But then his ego and pride made him a complete jerk to her. While Elizabeth on the other hand was driven by prejudice and never once sort to see what he did and why he did it. She always jumped to conclusions without hearing from his side," he shrugged. "Now that, my darling girlfriend, is what makes a book a good read." A strange feeling swelled up inside of me at the way he called me his girlfriend. He only ever said it once and I didn't mind him saying it over and over again.

Two minutes later he entered to the library looking everywhere, when he spotted her he came closer. "Hey. " He said moving a chair backwards and sitting down while placing his backpack on the desk. "Hi. " "I hope you don't mind but i got ahead in the assignment. " He said placing a copy of the book "Pride And Prejudice" by Jane Austen on the desk. Its cover had a girl with brown short curly hair and wearing a pink long dress that resembled a night gown, and a bonnet in her head seated on a chair looking somewhere else. She was resting her chin on her left index finger while on her right hand she was holding what it seemed a piece of paper. The cover was attractive to Amy, who always wanted t

, I was never going to get in a habit of the mojo he does. “Well I went up there to bring this book for you, I know you are doing English major in your university and I also got to know you are a big fan of Jane Austin so I thought to give you a present of Pride and prejudice first ever edition, trust me it is very limited”, fir the first time I could see the spark in Elvin eyes when he giving me the book. “So you were there when it got published”, I asked with so much excitement for the first time both of us were excited, “I’ve had my ways”, he chuckled.

Politics, Power, Business, History and many more. Boring. Boring man. I continued tracing the spines with my fingers, liking the texture beneath my fingertips. At some point, I completely forgot about the journal. I pulled out one of the books. It had a rare cover I had never seen before. “Pride and Prejudice.” What? I checked the cover again. Maybe I had read it wrong. Or maybe it was another Pride and Prejudice. But no. It was the same book, only with a different cover. This one had a black hard cover with the title engraved into it alongside the author’s name.

The more I try to draw boundaries she is making it nearly impossible for me to control myself from going and grabbing her face and kissing the shit out of her. I take a deep breath and return a soft smile," how about the classics, lex?" I ask her to divert my mind. " well, pride and prejudice is the only one I can truly think of!" she caresses the book on the book rack. " hmmm, interesting. I can't find any better than that one in the classics," I say while walking toward her. " but I think sense and sensibility were nice too, you know," I whisper not wanting to disturb other people in the store

Even the carpets and various furniture Hael had were black. ‘Goddess, does he even have a personality?’ Lacey scoffed. ‘There’s no color, no anything in here.’ Across the room, a bookshelf caught my eye. It was stacked top to bottom with books, most of them old and without titles. I slid one from its spot, a thick text with navy blue binding etched in gold. The inside of the book read, ‘Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austin.’ It wasn’t just the fact that Hael read books that made me pause, but the signed autograph on the inside cover.

I wanted to read, to do something that reminded me of normalcy. I looked at my growing shelf of books and decided to pick Pride and Prejudice. It was one of my favorite books as I was a sucker for romance novels. I flipped to the first page and began. "It is a truth, universally acknowledged, that a man in possession of a good fortune, must be in want of a wife."
