Pearl jested. Erik smiled. "I have no shame showing off a gorgeous woman like you on my arm." He looked into her eyes. "Are you sure you're alright." He asked. "No. But I will be. Pearl said.

Jane said, opening a cabinet to reveal a small fridge containing some champagne, sparkling juice, and wines. “Champagne?” Jane offered and Antheia just nodded. She poured on their glasses and handed one to Antheia which she took a sip from. Jane emptied her glass in one shot, and then walked to the landline telephone, ringing the maid’s room. “Hello, please send the chief maid Tessa to the ladies’ chamber. Tell her to bring a robe for our guest.” Jane ordered and the other person on the line immediately complied. They sat on the couch, facing each other, a table in between them, and Jane sighed as she reminisced her sister’s suffering when her mate died and she was arranged to a man she did

“I don’t know. You keep everything in such good condition. I’m almost afraid to touch anything in this room.” “I know you’ll be careful with my things.” She nodded and pulled the book off the shelf. “I didn’t know you liked Jane Austen.” “Why not?” She shrugged. “She’s a woman author.” “I’m broad minded enough to think women have a lot to offer society. I enjoy her work.” “This is one of my favorite books. Sense and Sensibility. The story of two sisters who represent two opposing forces: logic and emotion.” He leaned back in his chair and crossed his arms. He seemed to be considering her analysis of the book. “I didn’t think anyone else in Virginia understood that.”

" Jane had grown up with a silver spoon in her mouth. She naturally thought that the whole world revolved around her. She never had any regard for anyone. How would she possibly know that she shouldn't offend Yvonne? "No. I'll have to find a chance to talk to Jane. There are so many great men in this world. I'll give her anybody, except Stephen!" Jane's POV Jane layed on her bed facing the ceiling in confusion and smiling weakly at her self. "What did I ever do wrong to deserve this? And here I was thinking that my life was perfect not knowing that i have been sold to an unknown buyer, a prince. And I am expected to be happy. I thought I was free least did I expect that my fate had been decided all this while. I don't even know how to feel and here I was thinking that i would go out, fall in love and have a mate, someone the goddess would direct to me but no I already have a husband all for royalty!"

Ruby sighed to keep her laughter at bay. Pride and Prejudice is certainly a good book. Ruby also enjoyed it, but it’s a romance novel. This was the first time Ruby had met a man—especially one like Ed—who willingly admitted to liking that book. “Precisely because it’s so different. I enjoy it. It’s simple. There is no need to burden my mind. Light and warm. It reminds me that sometimes people only need simple things to be happy. It's akin to a fragment of a captivating vision that you can perpetually cherish.

She put out the necklace that Paul gave to her the day he confessed on the bridge and held it tightly. "I always cherished the one you gave. I don't want to lose it as much as you, but I don't think that even confessing my feelings for you will change everything, Paul. We are different. You are rich, I am underneath you. And I think this feeling was all wrong," Jane shouted as the rain poured down heavily, both of them were now soaked. She pursed her lips as Paul stared at her eyes unbelievably. She swallowed constantly as she continued what she was saying.

Jane is not like most girls who like to spend money on fun because Jane prefers to learn everything, so she grows every time she learns from her experiences. One by one the stalls, one by one the merchants she met, no wonder some people were fascinated by Jane’s beauty. Jane’s walking so cheerfully that she didn’t even notice the street, as she is busy with the sights of the place. Instantly, there is something in front of her. Jane falls to the ground because she bumps into it.

POV MARIUS Had she gone mad? Jane had dark almond shaped eyes, curly hair, and a small face. She was tiny in every way, yet her chin was lifted and her body firm. She didn’t seem afraid at all; on the contrary, a spark of challenge shone in her eyes, calling me. How, by the goddess, could she dare challenge me like this?
