Prologue Of A Book Novels & Stories

so not ALL of the cliffhangers are my design ;) Thank you all so much for following for so long. I published the Prologue for this book on April 4th 2023. We have been at this for a year now and it has been a real journey to say the least. I appreciate each and every one of you!!

Prophet how should I be sure that you are not just making this up and pushing responsibilities to my shoulders.” My aunt appears on my side, pulling my ear. He gently walks to me and looking at me with his soft golden eyes he stretches his hand, offering the book. “Here, take.” He doesn't leave, he stays as I open the book. The book weighed more than I imagined, beautifully coated in gold and white its fragrance was more welcoming than its beauty. “How should I open this? It's clearly locked.”

“Danger… like the library incident?” ‎“Exactly like last night,” he said softly, his gaze intense. “But there’s more. The prophecy doesn’t just predict power—it predicts enemies, betrayal, and choices that could cost lives. You’re not ready for all of it, but you need to understand the stakes.” ‎I reached out, trembling slightly, and opened the book. The pages were filled with intricate writing and diagrams, magical glyphs that pulsed faintly under my touch. My shadows quivered, curling protectively around the edges of the pedestal.

Arghhhh I should have read the epilogue first. 'Epilogue before Prologue' is the motto of people who have trust issue. Those who have trusted but were disappointed. That's why I don't want to get attached to the characters! Because are not even real yet they still do die. Now I'm starting to have trust issues. When I get the book back from the dog. I will surely read the epilogue first, I'm afraid all of those romantic dialogues would be washed down in vain! All of my expectations might crumble like a sand castle. Even though I might have learned some important things, I could never relax, and don't trust too much.
